I opted in in first day possible, filled in the secondary form shortly afterwards and since been waiting for a code. They said everyone should get a code by today yet still nothing… - is there a reason for not getting one or anything I can do?

You might get it later today still. They can arrive as late as 9 pm if you’re unlucky.
But if you won’t get it today (as was promised) then it’s not very likely.
When i got mine earlier this beta, it arrived around midnight.

yeah, if they can find a spare time while harassing and shaming female co-workers, you’ll get your code eventually. maybe you get your code when retail releases, who knows? keep supporting the botox filled yacht loving entrepreneurs and their beloved indie companies. they will get better…

Your angry statements was attacking them for their well publicised issues. Or as the definition of ad hominem would put it " you irrelevantly attack the person or some aspect of the person who is making the argument .". Whilst true, it is an irrelevant argument.

I haven’t defined anything. You brought up a totally different subject. Their legal issues and crimes they may or may not have committed aren’t relevant to people getting a beta code or not.

My change is arguable because on the topic you brought, it was a simplified racism. It was not just about a critic over people talking in their language, it was a hateful comment or let’s say stereotype attempt over a nation or race. Politics shouldn’t matter over nations on another grounds like “Gaming”. On the other hand, it was something about an in-game issue. That person did not promised me anything, I did not expect anything from them. That person is not obliged to do anything for me.
Blizzard is a company that provides services for its customers. I am one of them as you may have guessed it already. Even though I haven’t paid anything yet, on this occasion, there is a promise which is not kept.
Judging by how big of a company they are, not keeping their promised can rightfully be criticized. There is no valid argument to defend that non-sense. I would have be more patient about it if they were a small, indie company.
About the “public” issues. There is only one thing you are right about IMO and which is this one. But I am not ashamed of it. It could have been “personal” accusations if it was a case of person comes up and does something bad, he/she get punished over it and case closed. But no, Blizzard -as a company- was a part of the alleged crime OVER THE YEARS. Doen’t matter if it is over a rant or not, they should be reminded of their actions in every chance as they have dodged over the years, let’s close the gap. I have used it as a sarcastic reference point but I admit this is irrelevant to the topic and yet, I don’t care.
