Literally every game i’ve had so far tonight i’ve been dropped in with only a few seconds left, i’m not queuing to just watch other people lose! surely there’s a way to limit the amount of times you’re put into a game after it’s started? i’ll wait in the queue just a bit longer if it means i actually get to play the game

Stop leaving games?

FYI, if nobody leaves, you got new games right away (as in, after score screens, potg, whatever screens… about 1 minute wait altogether) with the same people (team scrambled up).
I often play QP non stop (i.e. non waiting for games) for 1 hour with (and against) the same people! Yeeha! :slight_smile:

If had zero backfills lately it helps if you never quit games.

  1. Don’t pick any heroes
  2. Don’t take a loss for it because no hero selected
  3. Enjoy free XP

Don’t listen to the players saying “Don’t leave” as leaving doesn’t effect backfilling at all so feel free to leave any games you don’t want to stay in :slightly_smiling_face:

I don’t leave games, it’s a waste of time to leave cos the only reason to play QP is for XP and you get nothing for leaving, so that’s not the answer

Well…if you don’t care about the endorsement penalty that’s certainly the way to go… The 2 times I was put in so late that I couldn’t even make a selection anymore before the scores came up I lost big time. :wink:

Last time I was put into a losing game like this, I picked orisa and we won…

Last time I backfilled was 1 year ago when I still played QP like once a month.

Ignore the mode and enjoy the game more.

Yup. Because not getting to pick a character and in any way contributing apparently is considered leaving as well. Like I said, I had that happen to me twice so far, and each time it took like a day or two to make up for the endorsement level loss, probably around 30 endorsements or so to meet the new level threshold and climb back up to where I was before it happened.

it’s unclear if you understand me from your answer…
I mean when the game is finished, after the victory/defeat message, when the game is over, do you leave and requeue?
If you do… you are making a mistake, you are queueing again!

If you don’t leave at all you get a new game with same people immediately after all the score screens with no down time. And no backfill, obviously.

I hate this too! But not only when you get in an already lost game. Also when you get dropped in a game 10 seconds from winning when you are only 1 game away from leveling up or getting a lootcrate in arcade. I know you all going to call me a weirdo or something, but i want to play for it and win it myself. It doesnt feel like an achievement when you get it because of other people winning a game.

It’s not because of them, the server is VERY unstable rn and everyone keeps getting server errors. Consider yourself lucky if you aren’t waiting in queue rn.
