woke up today to my fps nearly halved… spent all day troubleshooting different things. In game shows 0mb vram usage and i cant find anything abt it online. cpu and gpu usage seem pretty low. fps very volatile as well as SIM number (input lag?) on ctrl shift n thing.
any help would be great : )
sounds like OW uses the internal GPU of the CPU instead of the graphics card’s GPU.
Like all intel and some amd cpus have an internal GPU that can handle some graphics without need for a dedicated graphics card, but these are slow. That’s also why no VRAM is used cause VRAM is memory on the graphics card.
in overwatch go to options, video, and it should say GPU and you can choose the gpu.
it should give you choice of two gpus… your internal one from the cpu which is probably selected atm and then our nvidia/amd gpu of the graphics card, just switch it.
