I believe that bringing back the old battle passes would be a good idea. The way I envision it working is like how 343 does it with halo how when the season is active you can level up the free track, however if you don’t finish it you can come back afterwards and purchase the premium pass and continue levelling it up. This I see benefiting players who missed out on a few things and those who missed seasons and I also see this benefiting Blizzard as they can make more money off of battle passes, they could also charge a bit more like 1500 coins instead of the usual 1000 because it is “after the season”. I can also see this creating conflict in the community as some players may feel that their time limited cosmetics from the battle pass would have less value, and I understand that fact but I believe that it would benefit returning and players with less time on their hands a lot more. I’d love to hear thoughts on my idea.

Old pass cosmetics do the rounds in the shop, and there is talk that you’d be able to pick any of the old mythics to earn in a pass.
It’s not implemented yet, but it’ll hopefully happen at some point.
Though the new Mythic Shop (with yet another type of in-game currency) is a step in the right direction, the monetisation of it is still really scummy tbh… eg: there is no option to buy 80 mythic tokens, only 10, 50 or 100. Level one of a mythic costs 50, with each other level costing 10, so if you want to completely unlock a mythic, you’d have to buy 100 and only have 20 left over… or buy 50+10+10+10 (which I believe is more expensive)…
Side note: I’m glad Blizzard agree that Hanzo’s mythic was a let down, it’s the only one that doesn’t have a 4th level. They even managed to give Orisa’s 4 levels!

Long story short, thanks to my ex, I lost access to my original OW1 account, which means I also lost the first two battle passes. I really want to be able to re-earn season 2’s BP, because I love Greek mythology, and those skins were awesome (eg: Medusa Widowmaker).
I would be more than happy to pay 1500 coins (as previously suggested), or even 2000 coins, to be able to buy the old battle passes again and complete them now I’ve already completed the current one. Alternatively, I’d even be happy to pay the original 1000 coins if the mythic is not available in the pass and only available in the mythic shop.
