At the moment, there’s nothing you can do about hit indicators, and most people I’ve played with would prefer more customization for their UI, regardless.
Overwatch already has a lot of screen spam, and it would be nice to reduce it a bit on our own end. Hit indicators on top of existing screen spam removes clarity.
My problem with this:
The headshot indicator’s colour is the same as the enemy outline colour, even if you use colour-blind mode.
This makes tracking heads or keeping track after a flick more difficult than it needs to be.
The headshot hit indicator is also huge. Shoot a dummy in the head to test and consider the fact that every time you do that in a match you see a huge hit indicator semi-blocking what you’re shooting at.
When playing full auto or semi-auto guns, this actually becomes silly. You’re actively handicapping yourself by going for headshots, as your screen gets spammed.
Lets not even get into the kill indicator.
