Hey friend o/
I love challenge DPS player with my Mercy too
@OP :
I don’t really care about what ppl play in my or in the other team.
I try my best, I stay positive with my team and so far I’ve lot of awesome game despit the team comp.
So it’s why I don’t understand all these player who are mad about QP. Sometime we win, sometime we lose.
I play often healer or tank but I can also take DPS if I think we need it.
I already win many game with full DPS against 2-2-2.
I also already win with full random against a 6 stack even if at the start ppl was like “why a full stack blizz, its not fun” then just say them : “it’s ok guy, we’r amazing, let’s stomp them” : We win and it was a very fun game.
All of that to say, don’t give up and don’t focus on perfect team comp, just speak with ppl nicely and motive them
My English is far from good so I hope all I’ve write is understandable ^^
Funny thing, even if they add role que to Ranked, they won’t for QP.
Like role que will fix this game but lets wait for 2 more years before adding a positive change.
As well as, 6 stacks/teams having a que of there own anything more then duo que in QP just makes the game one sided, same for ranked. Then maybe the casual expirance might be abit less one sided.
I don’t let that bother me, I know it’s not an ideal place to practice for real competitive play, since sometimes you’ll get 4-5 dps like you said, but that’s not always the case.
Some players just have a very negative outlook on QP because it doesn’t meet their expectations. I rather not go in with all of these unrealistic expectations and actually use the mode for the positive things it can bring. It’s definitely worked for me in terms of training and improving.
Well i know it is not an ideal place but you can learn basic of heroes to an extend. For example: i really suck with d.va. And i wanna play all tanks well. So only place i can play to get the mechanics is qp. I watch some tutorials and then put that into practice in qp.
One side of the problem is that i am tryhard. In everything xD
I’m the same That’s precisely what qp is for. Watching some guides, like any student of any art or craft does, then practicing it in qp, to sharpen our swords for competitive.
QP with “Widow, Hanzo OR Genji”… No, no my friend.
Widow AND Hanzo AND Genji. That’s where quickplay is at
And the other team has these too, usually.
So I go Winston, and have the time of my life.
On a more serious note, I do tend to try support said heroes. I play with the assumption we’re all trying to get better at what we pick Loosing isn’t bad.
If it’s twice in a row… then Arcade is getting some love for a few games to loosen off and have fun
I love the challenge from a Mercy when I’m Widow/McCree. When I kill you, I feel amazing (I talk out loud in my room, saying stuff like “YES, SIT THE F DOWN”), if you kill me, I feel humiliated.
Currently only playing QP as Zarya because my microphone broke down and I don’t really fancy play comp without comms. Sometimes it’s fun, at least I can deal damage, peel & tank with bubbles so it’s not that bad.
Tried to play Rein for awhile but it was like repeatedly kicking a toothpick under your toe nail
D.Va is also OK’ish in QP solo queue but haven’t played her for awhile.
A rein making space isn’t more clearly rewarding, an Ana hitting a low hp target isn’t more clearly rewarding…
You know what I mean, and obviously it’s not something only for offense heroes geez
I feel quite rewarding to keep my team alive, i feel quite rewarding for having an good engage as a tank.
Outplaying your opponent you do as a team but i know most people who play only offense heroes try to 1v1. Like the Genji complaining about Moira, the Tracer on a Brig etc. Never understand that playing aim based “skilled” heroes or offensive heroes generally makes people somewhat feel more special.
We are all sitting on our butt holding a mouse and pressing some buttons on the keyboard.
