I was just about to join a game before, i failed to connect to a server and was suspended for 15min and lost 50SR. This game can not get worse.

Nothing wrong with the game there… All leavers are treated the same.
15 minutes means you have left a game before fairly recently.
So be careful.
A “failed to connect to server” is usually an issue your end. Not Blizzards. Because otherwise the server would be down and no one would connect.
The game believes you left the match, so it will give you a 15 min ban and 50SR loss. It’s been this way for years.
