Tbagers. Grow up!

Ok, i am sick and tired of some people who think they are good and so they are alowed to tbag me when they kill me.

Times when you are alowed to tbag,

If you kill your counter. (Zen kills genji, doom prarah etc…)

You did an actual 1v something without any help of your team by using map geometry to take cover and stuff that actualy recuire user input and not the team doing the work. (catching the enemy’s attention while the genji sneaks on the back.)

When you beat your own character in an actual 1v1 and not a 5v1. I played a game later where i was on hog and the other hog tbaged me after just giving the finishing blow witch was like 10 hp because i could take cover or hide behind any barrier due to cc. The other hog was a bot ofc because the is my alt and i get so many of them in here that might as well be ai hard. Not even ai hard. Its below easy.

Cases when you are not alowed to tbag.

You beat someone with a counter. (doom kills zen. You are out of your mind)

You are getting carried by your team with heals, protection, peals and everything. (AKA that hog i got last game)

While spaming across the map. (hanzo is just tapping left click over the root 66 first gate. You are just lucky)

You are playing an over powered no-aim-no-skill-no-brain-i’m-a-junkrat-main hero (blizzard is just high)

It frustrates me and i have enough stress from my life. It’s not funny. But what am i saying. You are propably 3 and you dont understand. Anyway. Play nice, play fair!

Maslows hierarchy of needs are:
Water + food (Socialism can see to that).
Shelter (Mommy’s basement).
Love (Most OW players are virgins, so we’ll skip this one :yum:)
Then it’s self-esteem/ego (They mean the same thing).

So, how to gain ego??
You can gain ego by doing awesome things.
You can gain ego from others complimenting your abilities.
You can gain ego by lowering the ego of those around you, maybe by calling them a n00b or crouching quickly whilst standing over their smoking corpse.

The third option there is arguably the morally negative one, because you’re taking away someone elses ego in order to boost your own. T-baggin’ is just an example of the third option.

Also, if your ego is lowered because you’ve been playing badly, it can help to blame your allies, which can protect your ego because you can form the idea in your mind that it’s actually their ineptitude and not your own which is the cause of failure.

Knowing the causes for human behaviour allows you to rise above it. You are enlightened. All knowing. It’s like you’re visiting the human zoo and taking photos through the bars as they toss :poop: at each other. :camera_flash:

I can not agree more with you, i mean… you are of the few people these days who actualy do research before opening their mouth. Here you go, take that ego ;).

But… there is no amount of reading or studying about the human mind i can do to make myself feel superior of someone just because of my knowledge because this is an fps and your actions build your status. It’s like getting pushed into the pool with your phone in the pocket/playing a tank with no movement abilities and getting booped into a pit. You cant say anything because this will make you look like a tiny little crybaby and all you can do is try not getting pushed into that pit again.

Remind me to tbag you when I see you ingame. Like, tbaggers are sad (although I don’t really mind them so much) but people who make forum threads about tbaggers are really pathetic. Considering the tone of your post and the fact you actually took the effort to create a post about being $%& hurt of getting tbagged, you’re probably the same type of person who can’t stand getting killed in general and telling people they are just lucky and stuff like that.

Which makes you what? Really smart to giving us the third degree?

Until you brought this up I didn’t even know a “name” for this action, as far as T-BAG goes it always reminds me to that character from the Prison Break movie.

I noticed sometimes ppl squeel multiple times on my dead body, I thought it’s some bad act just couldn’t put a name on it.

TBH it’s not much concern however Blizz should consider removing the cross team chat from the games because it serves no purpose just toxicity. There is no reason whatsoever why the 2 enemies should talk to each other. This was like it for ions in the vanilla WoW (and I still think it is) that alliance and horde cannot communicate.

What’s the reason of hearing ggez ez from the enemy team.

Maybe … just not get offended by it, shrug and move on?

Furthermore, who are you to set the rules of t-bagging? What gives you the right to decide whats right and wrong when it comes to t-bagging?

Ouff, I just came from a different thread where I talked about how to respect others opinions and form a good respectful, argument and felt the need to apologize, and take a deep long look in the mirror, about this one.

That said I stand by my view, I don’t think this is a matter to police, I don’t see it as toxic, and I generally just think its worth no more than a smile, even when I am the one being t-bagged. I think, no offence it is just my opinion, that one can be offended a little too easily, and i’m probably not an exception. It is fine if you think its a lack of manners, but my advice is to let it go and don’t let it bother you, you know none of them personally, so dont take it personally. GG EZ is even handled by the chat system in quite humorous way. Now if people had been streamsniping you to personally harras you it would be a different thing, but i still dont think the forums is the place to take it. It is of course up to yourself to decide that. Have a good one

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with your first post before the edit. It’s not harsh, it’s not rude. You actually prove a decent point about him being off on setting the rules for t- bagging.

You apologizing for it just shows how these forums and society in general caters to special snowflakes too much.

I honestly just shrug it off or laugh (Depending on how tilted I am). It’s a mental game strat to intentionally frustrate the enemy. it’s been a thing for a long time way before OW, so all you can really do is either ignore it or have fun with it. There’s been times when I T-Bag someone, and we just have fun with it. I remember I t-bagged an enemy mercy and they said “it’s rude to T-bag without taking me out to dinner first” and we just had fun with it. It’s all about your mindset and what you let get to you.

now granted it’s not exactly a fun thing to die and watch your killer t-bag you, but like I said, it’s a matter of how you take it and roll with it. Just roll with the punches and keep good spirits  Besides, you can’t exactly mandate the behavior of others in game.

Looking at your post your ego must be larger than the planet. Having the need to put down other players only shows your insecurities.

Why do you allow yourself to take it personal over stupid spammable action within the game in the first place? Value yourself if you want others to value you.

I find it childish and stupid which in most instances makes me laugh tbh, because at some level sometimes we want to do stupid and childish things to relax. Don’t get me wrong, I do not support toxicity. There is Difference between “Go KYS” and stupid action within the game such as T-bag, waving at your opponents, nano boosting mercy, and many other things.

If someone T-bags me I am actually glad. It means I pissed them off enough for them to go out if their way to try to be mean towards me. I am the same by the way, when I am losing and kill off an especially annoying enemy I will suicide just to t-bag them. It makes the loss slightly more bearable because the action is amusing to me.

t-bagging is head game its not taxic in my book… tilting enemy players is a valid tactic…

you should have the mental disiplin to ignore it.

if find a Ez at the end to be truely toxic though… because then your tilting someone ahead of their next game… which does not benefit you… if you end up on the same team then you’ve spoiled things for yourself in fact…

that is somewhat true about t-bagging too…

t-bagging should be approached with a enlightened sith mentality coldly calculating what real world benefit it may convey or not convey… failure to appropriately t-bag and just do it willy nilly on the other hand is inexcusable…

worse yet is when someone t-bags an ally… that is the height of stupidity.

if you can harass a player like widow maker and add that extra bit of ego damage to them tat they switch then it can elliminate a nuisance and force them to play like you prefer them to…

if you can dictate your enemys actions then typically that is how you win…

however you must consider if keeping an enemy on a hero that is doing less effect may be of more value… so maybe its not worth inflicting extra ego damage to force a switch… widow maker especially can easily be harassed into ineffectivness and many people fail to realize how badly they are doing or are to stuborn to switch…

Also keep in mind that the inequality of power in a duel is also key… like widow maker that beats a doomfist to death t-baging is a lot more likely to inflict massive ego damage :stuck_out_tongue:

gotta be tactical the goal is not to harass it is to shift the opponents thinking… be sporting after the battle is done but push as hard as you can when the fight is one! all is fair in love an war!

I am at a loss as to why someone would be so concerned about this they would write an essay on it.

Yea, that’s the joke. Goes over your head though, doesn’t it?

Spending this much time on a joke made in poor taste doesn’t make you look any better you know.

I don’t care what you think Bustar. You’re just a boring, humourless troll. Other people got it, you didn’t.

The OP took you seriously you know. I don’t see you correcting them, maybe because they didn’t call your post for what it is - stupid.

A brilliant response, but let’s think about why you made it, and why you made your first post?

The answer, ladies and gentleman is, Ego! :yum:

Buster saw a chance to lower my ego and boost his own by pointing out that I have a big ego. That’s an attempt to lower mine and increase his.

I replied by pointing out that it was all an elaborate joke, which made him look foolish, which lowered his ego and increased mine.

Then his defence instincts took hold and he refused to believe that it could possibly be a joke, accusing me of lying about the whole thing.

I retort by suggesting that I don’t care about his opinion, which drops his ego even further. He’s really in the red now! :fearful:

Finally, poor Buster, with his diminished, broken ego, has to resort to insults by calling the whole thing stupid. :yum:

Of course, there are plenty other examples of ego boosting here in this thread. Let’s take a look at some now!

Brilliant! Wolfex has succinctly insulted the OP with a short, sweet jab. The guy has been deemed a :fearful: Snowflake! :fearful: This is sure to pump Wolfex’s ego at the expense of FloorIsLava. What a champ! He must be feeling good after that!

Ohhh, Lethal just struck a lethal blow to his ego there. Pardon the pun.

Oh dear. It seems that yangxiaolg has observed this trading of ego. He/she doesn’t like that Lethal is getting all this free ego boost and yang wants to even the odds, hopefully gaining some ego for her/himself in the process.

And so on…

You might say and even think that it’s all stupid, Bustar, but it’s not. It is the great motivator, the cause behind most of the things you and others say on here and for most of their actions, t-baggin’ is just one example of that.

So, you get it, or are we going to continue this pointless ego trade? :yum:
