Team balancing fix?

Do you guys have the same problem that no matter why. When you play any gamemode. Its almost 90% of time that your team cant do anything. And the enemy does so great. Your healers solo. Your tanks are way too aggressive. And then some dps just doesnt do anything. Just wanted to ask because Imo overwatch devs should do the team balancing better. Im not a good player either but still. It is still a problem.

They can’t balance/match make for coincidences.

How does the match maker know who’s going to pop off, or who’s having a bad day. It just looks at hard numbers, not human behaviour.

when something happens more often than not, its not a coincidence

they need to tune the matchmaker better

Could happen every time. Still a coincidence. Because what the OP is complaining about cannot be accounted for in the match maker.

It looks at numbers. It cannot predict the future.

Just group with friends and control your part of the match making. Easy.

Maybe its you who is bad since it happens in every game…

Well I can say it straight that Im not a good player. But like for real. In my matches the level scaling is so bullshiet. I dunno is it just my luck or something.

Level doesn’t = skill.

Also, if you are playing quick play you will get experienced accounts playing along side new players leveling up and older players on new accounts doing the same thing.

The hidden MMR means that, as far as the system is concerned (based on the numbers it has gathered from your gameplay) that you are all vaguely the same skill.

I lost 8 games in Open Queue today against a duo which had 3.4K and 3.1K in Damage but 550 and 650 in Open…

Happens. Report them for deranking and move on from it.

Literally nothing else you can do, so no point worrying. Maybe watch the game back from their view and see if you can pick any tips up.

i cannot prove that they derank on purpose and reporting is useless.

“nothing else you can do” ??? you have to say “improve and you can beat them”

No it isn’t. Deranking is obvious on their profile.

I am so tired to lose and I deleted the game. Balance system is garbage.

Hope you find an easier time elsewhere.

i lost 9 games against the same smurf duo today. balanced? never

Awww. I played a smurf duo on genji widow. We just beat them till they swapped and then won the match. Easy wins.

Have a watch

enjoy how terrible gold/plat/diamond players are.(I was the lowest sr player in the game)

Seems legit ye. Well. I Just need to hold up with it then and try to get better at the game.

I completely agree that Team balancing system does not work properly.
I play in the team (4 players) and every day we face with the same issue.
“Team stars rank” is always better (difference is on 2000-3000 levels between teams) than our team and finally we lost 90% of matches. We play “Quick play games”.
Developers do not want to see this issue and I suppose probably fixed problem with “queue time”.
Few years ago we did not have this issue.

There’s a higher chance of the enemy team having more worse players than your own.

Just like there is a higher chance of the enemy having a cheater/leaver/thrower/“smurf” or whatever people don’t like this week.

Basic maths…

ENEMY
Have 6 chances that one of their team will be a miscreant.

YOUR TEAM
Assuming you are not one… you only have 5 chances… and if you stack with people you trust, the chances are reduced even more.

And also, if you are finding you are always having “bad” players on your team… They are deemed the same skill level as you according to your MMR… So what does that tell you?

if everyone could basically one-trick without repercussions or being at a disadvantage at some point then there would be less steam rolls.

sure people might have a bad day, but they would be a lot more consistent with what they play as long as the comp is legitimate enough or isn’t “countered”

however there are too many facets of the game that’s basically a toss up between winning and losing that really only can be controlled somewhat by having an actual team that you play with on the regular.
