I mean they just drop a pile load of tweaks
they drop a new hero
they add a map
All this basically for FREE
Community : “Omg there is no progress!! yap, yap yap, omgggg!!!” Im so glad I don’t work in bliz… such a thankless job
Asking for a nerf of buff oe offerring suggestions and feedback is one thing… downright whining and complaining and being so ungrateful is so crappy

It was the other way around. Community was complaining, then Blizzard released the new map and changes. The changes hasn’t even released yet, they have been announced when, 3 or 4 days ago?
To be honest, I just want the devs to make their minds up about what they are actually going to do with the characters instead of constant nerfs and buffs.

Controversial changes. The forced role queue wont go well for sure.
Ana and Eichenwalde, are in my opinion the best additions of this game, I would not have paid for blizzworld, I don’t like it, I don’t like lunar base, junker town or the new paris map.
Pay for doomfist or baguette? must be out of your mind, 2 ill thought of heroes, there is no way they should be charging people for their incompetence.
It was always said the content in this game would be free, blizzard shouldn’t have made that promise but then you’re the only saying we’re greedy and not them.
It’s free, that’s the perfect excuse for when it doesn’t go as planned.

I am guessing you are not aware that they “have to” add those or the game will die much much faster. In fact if they added better things game would have been in a better condition. Even free to play games like fortnite add lots of stuff. So the magic words “they have to” . Updates and contents are not made for charity they are an absolute neccessity for online games. You should have searched how online games keep player base before posting this. And games with modding capabilities have million times more content made by community for “FREE”, and there is that.
Simple example for you : if a known website never updates itself with new content what would happen to it? Simple answer : people stop visiting it.
Yea, no.
Overwatch is a completely multiplayer focused game, if the devs didn’t release anything people would stop playing(buying lootboxes). The consumer has every right to demand things in this scenario.
Welcome to every community ever.
The main issue is entitlement and lack of empathy.
People think they’re entitled to exactly what they want and that noone else might get what they want. Baptiste? Not the hero for me, but it’s a good addition that’ll be interesting to have in games. Do I cry about how I don’t like it so it doesn’t count as anything new? Obviously not.
Paris is a map I like, because I enjoy 2CP. Still, I’m aware that not everyone feels that way. Does that mean the addition doesn’t count? Of course not!
Soldier has some of his background story coming out (get it? “coming out”), people feel they’re entitled to every character have their gender, sexuality, skin colour, etc. Am I a gay white man? No, I’m not. Does that mean I have to complain about someone else being one? Of course not. We’ve had characters and their traits explored via new background stories every time, in exactly the same fashion. We didn’t know how Torb lost his arm until Brig’s origin story. We didn’t know about D.Va’s more sombre personality traits until that short last year.
There will be new stuff. Will you like everything? Probably not. Will someone like that specific stuff? Probably. You’re not the centre of the universe, just accept that there’s tons of stuff in the world that makes other people happy - and be glad that other people are happy, because that’s not a bad thing.
