I was playing a match of comp. with a friend and came into a very nasty individual. I reported him, however because of the word limit on the feedback box I could not go into the detail required. Yes, he was that bad.
I feel that this might stay a problem, i.e. situations that require more space than the feedback box allows, and I think it should be addressed.
This is my first post so I’m not sure if this is the right place to post my query.

That. Whenever you see something you don’t like report with blank “reason”.
People playing heroes you don’t like? Report disruptive gamplay.
Someone commenting on your gameplay? Report abusive chat.
Someone commenting how team should play, what heroes should people play? Report abusive chat.
You’re in a group and you just lost? Report everybody that’s not in your group for abusive chat and disruptive gameplay.

You can be concise enough to fit anything in that box. You don’t have to list every curse word someone has said.
I imagine the limitation is to avoid too many essays being written. When reading a report, considering how many they must receive, it should be short and to the point.
Those are probably read only when a player appeals. That’s when human interaction is needed. Mention only the most offending thing if there is no room for the rest.
I wasn’t writing everything and was being as concise as possible. Even being as concise as possible important parts of what needed to go in couldn’t be reached. Although I understand Ricochet’s point, it’s still annoying when you run across someone that bad that you reach the word limit even when trying to be concise and only adding the important details.
Honestly speaking I can’t imagine a game were I’d ever have to say more than just, ‘‘this person made racist/sexist/… comments.’’. Adding a quote if I feel obliged to.
Honestly, I feel like it’s not a common thing to come across (I’m just that unlucky - or lucky?), but this guy was so bad I got to the word limit and still felt like I needed to write a bit more.
Being a bad player isn’t reportable. When reporting for abusive chat I usually put nothing into the editbox. I usually write something only when the offence/spamming happens through voice chat, e.g.: the guy steams music through voice chat, burping/farting into the mic, etc…
Just report twice and continue in the second report. Also helps to push the report numbers.
(but i guess the auto bann only works if enough reports from different accounts are made)
I suppose that’s a good idea. I just didn’t want to report him more than once and make it seem like it was more than one offence.
