As long as that mentality exists ppl will be toxic.
It doesn’t matter if it’s qp, ranked or arcade, I guess you play to have a nice a bit competitive experience. You could ask any1 if it’s fun to play 5v6, 4v6 cause your healer decided to spawn camp…while the rest of the team get’s killed over and over again.
Either get rulles straight, or don’t complain about toxicity cause you’re the ones keeping it alive.

It depends what you see as throwing, to be honest. Too many people perceive bad plays as throwing, even though the player in question is clearly trying to win the game. If I play bad in QP with a hero I’m less familiar with, it doesn’t mean I’m throwing.

Tbf, the whole game is essentially “qp” now.

That is why they changed the UI on control maps to match QP, as no one really cares these days.

If BLizzard can throw me into unbalanced matches “because it’s only QP”, then I can throw the match “because it’s only QP”

As long you don’t think you can say I’m trash just because I am not supposed to throw, I agree. If people’s tryhard was healthy I had no problem with people tryharding in qp, but the problem is that in ow trying means calling out who you think is the worse player on the team. It’s really hard to understand and properly day why someone is loosing, but in plat we are all game sens gods. My god that’s annoying.

When you think about it it makes sense:

If we win: “Lol I carried.”
If we lose: “Pff I wasn’t even trying.”

Quick play, even though it can be used as a version of comp without sr, is there to be quick. If someone is learning a new hero, they aren’t going to do it in comp (hopefully), so they go to quick play, since that is the point of the game mode. It is annoying to get the level 5 bastion on your team, but if they’re throwing, then the match will be over soon enough.

Honestly, we get the same attitude in comp. Not much difference between QP and comp anymore.

There is no difference. They should just scrap QP.

You have ranked with SR as the game. and everything else is arcade modes and workshop stuff.
