The overwatch 1 cosmetics to overwatch 2 I’m disappointed

I seriously disappointed with blizzard , the fact that overwatch 1 items are carrying over to overwatch 2 is annoying, Blizzard this is ment to be a fresh game , a new start , your going to get people not wanting to buy your cosmetics and battle pass or your watch point thing what I wasted my money on because they couldn’t get the old items what are out of the game. That isn’t fair for people who actuallly want a fresh start and doesn’t have to think about the older items what are going and were transferred from over watch 1 .It’s not fair I’m gunna tell you something , if you make it so it’s a fresh start and every ones new on overwatch w and leave the old cosmetics on th road one over watch a like it’s ment to then a lot more people would play .It’s like saying fifa 20 you will be transferring all your fifa cards all your players all your team into fifa 21 , it will be boring you’ll have the same things .Who can back me up on this tho. So bilzzard I mean this ur game WILL DIE IF YOU DO NOT FIX THIS ISSSUE . it’s to late bro if you brake the promise or curse. The games dead

I wouldn’t go that far… Some people genuinely think you shouldn’t lose SR when you get a loss.

Not a bad idea at all. It’s true that they should just go with a fresh start and none of the old cosmetics should carry over. That would make the new game feel a lot more fresh and everyone would be starting from the same level.

And also they might as well call it just over watch not 2 then say it’s had a massive update and free to play . Not call it overwatch 2 and have the old cosmetics etc

I’m confused. Are you asking not to have OW1 cosmetics transferred to OW2?

OW1 is being overwritten by OW2. This suggestion will do a disservice to those already aggy about this transition. As for me, I don’t plan on buying OW2 and I’m aware that it means I won’t have access to the OW2 skins or PVE, so I would like to keep the skins I’ve obtained to this point.

people will still buy the battlepass because there will be many new cosmetics exclusive to it. robbing overwatch 1 players of every cosmetic they got would be awful, because its an update to the live game, and also because some people paid for overwatch 1 cosmetics.

But what I’m trying to says people why make it be called overwatch 2 when over watch 1 cosmetics will be put into thr overwatch 2. I’m talking about the limited , exclusive ones, and rare ones , it’s kinda unfair for collectors to.

They won’t be, technically.

All the hero models will be changed so some extent. So the skins will need to be adjusted.

There’s no guarantee 100% of the skins will move over.

But it’s called overwatch 2, because it is the sequel. It’s a continuation of the story.

Worst idea ive heard. That would be so unfair to those who have spent so much time and money on skins already, to just lose it all because newer players want to have as much stuff

This is true. Hopefully a lot more.

But, this is part of the “reward” for being an existing player. You get to keep all the stuff you’ve earned.

I’m sure these skins will be available to new players to some how.
