The problem with latest balance changes

Lately i have noticed a trend with Overwatch balance changes, it seem that Blizzard hands out reworks and major buffs to everybody (you get a rework and you get a rework) and it never seem to work as intended. For example the Hanzo changes created a monster, that made most other medium to long ranged dps like Mccree and s76 disappear from the ladder (a little over exaggeration).

In my humble opinion this is the wrong way to balance a game in a long run. The best buffs (and nerfs) are usually the ones that are small, but impactful. For example Widows buff few months ago where the hook cooldown was reduced etc. The buff itself didn’t make Widow busted, but for a widow player, it was a massive QoL change and made Widow better at being Widow.

I get that people hated scatter with a burning passion, but instead of just switching scatter to storm, they went overboard and slapped other stuff, that was to be honest, quite unnecessary, sense if Hanzo was still in a bad spot after the change, they could have slowly started dropping these buffs, until Hanzo was in a good spot in their eyes, this way maybe this outcry for Hanzo might have been avoided.

All and all, id rather see a slow development in power levels, than Blizzards current way of blowing something up and rebuilding it, that has lead some fun times like the mercy meta and this… well what ever this meta is called. (Fun and interactive cc meta?)
