The REAL reason Hanzo is so damn annoying

He’s a Projectile Hero, which means his Arrows have NO Fall-Off Damage.

That means he can One-Shot you from across the Map, something that was JUST REMOVED from Widowmaker.

Hanzo should have Damage Fall-Off, I don’t care if it’s Inconsistent, he’s a stupidly designed Hero.

Widow can do that though.

Yeah, but it was heavily Nerfed down from 50 Meters to 30 or something. Hanzo doesn’t have ANY Limiter, which is my Point.

I can agree on this. Bad designed champion…

Huh? :eyes:

JK, I know what you mean.

I mean a hero , Hanzo need rework in my own oppinion

Yeah the annoying luck Hanzos get by shooting randomly.

They should get rid of all one shot heroes.

Widow was limited from 100 to 50 meters.

And i think hanzo’s fully charged headshot damage was nerfed from 300 to 200.
So just play heroes with 250 hp and you can’t get oneshot.

50 meters is far longer than people might realize, there’s really not a lot of spots on any maps you will sit that far away as widow to go beyond 50 meters, that’s more of a balance thing because on a few select maps she can shoot from her spawn to the enemy spawn pretty much.

a hanzo could do that but in order to do that he’d have to get extremely lucky as his shots drop over distance and also have travel time so it’s extremely unlikely it will actually hit, like 0,01 percent chance or something ridiculous.

say it like it is, hanzo spams corners and corridors because that’s the most effective way of hitting shots with hanzo and you feel cheated when he spams shots and you just so happen to run into his spam shots.
it’s not by coincidence.

Hanzo went from 250 Headshot to 240.

Okay, it’s still half luck to hit anything with him

No, no it isn’t…

Technically it is.
Overwatch uses a system where both clients send information to a server, but before the server gets the info it also tries to predict what’s happening.
That’s why ping is so important. You and the hanzo might be seeing completely different things.
And if you manage to move into a direction that the hanzo didn’t think you’d go, pure luck.

If thats true then is that the reason you get hit though youre around the corner out of sight?

I’ve never ecperienced that. Some heroes have ridiculous hitboxes though and storm arrow ricochets from walls.

To see if you were visible or not, i recommend checking the kill cam instead of skipping it.

Adding damage fall off wouldn’t do much for Hanzo because most of the one shots come from medium or short range, at least in my experience.

I don’t play Hanzo and definitely don’t like getting a random arrow to my head but i think Hanzo headshotting people is just something that’s part of his kit and the game. If we gave him damage fall off you would gut the hero which isn’t really fair imo.

on 2-3 maps. The rest is unchanged for widow.

I would not be opposed to gutting the Spam Sniper with Sonar, Task Busting and 2 forms of Mobility. SOMETHING has to go and if not adding Projectile Damage Fall-Off, how about removing his Headshot Multiplier ENTIRELY?

You’re contradicting yourself here. First you’re saying it wouldn’t make a difference, then you’re saying it would gut the hero. What’s it gonna be?
