What do you all think of the report system? The first one was a complete and utter bust. Many accounts had hundreds collected against them without action taken in response, this one most certainly (automatically, of course…) punishes incredibly swiftly in comparison.
My first point is this:
Was the “revamped” report system designed to please those who report others (those who feel wronged, even if, especially, those who falsely report players and/or write in chat: “report insert name” with no reason given)?
Second point:
If you are suspended or banned you have no time to take screenshots to help your case if you (firmly) believe a person attempted to rally multiple people against you and report you falsely. You have practically, if not certainly, no means of defending yourself if you refrain from typing in chat at all, and rely completely on voice chat to communicate with.
They are not allowed to have recordings of conversations had mid game or otherwise. So if people get suspended/banned over “abusive chat” (many disregard and/or fail completely to understand what this actually means), what then can they do to defend themselves? I am fairly certain the answer is: “Nothing”.
Simply put, if enough report you, even if you only use voice chat, for abusive chat, true or false, you will eventually be unable to play the game.
How is this FAIR?
Note that bans will NOT be lifted no matter what. If the reports are false, well, pity my friend. You have to buy the game anew on a new account to play.
