In Numbani, close to the end of match one, everyone has gotten “The server closed due to an unexpected error” message in the chat, and the match has restarted. Then again, when match two nearly finished, the error popped up again and the match got restarted for the second time.
I have a screenshot of the names of all the players in these matches, as well as screenshots of the error message in the chat, if necessary.

If this happened to everyone in the match (and assuming you weren’t all using the same network), that would indicate that the server had an issue. There were some issues yesterday around this time, but they were resolved relatively fast. Is this when you experienced it, or did you experience it today? Also, did you experience any issues after that match?
The same problem just happened to me and all the players in my match. It happened right at the start of the game, another time after the first point was captured… After the third time I decided to left and I received a message saying my endorsement level decreased. I also couldn’t return to main screen and had to close the game with ALT+F4.
It just happened to me too on Numbani, and people in the game complained about the game ending due to server issue before i join.
It also happened two days ago, this time on Hanamura. Same pattern : hero selection screen -> waiting for game to begin in spawn room -> doors open -> 10 - 15 seconds before server encountering an issue -> repeat.
I lost an endorsement level because of it.
Would be happy if this issue could be fixed quickly.

To clarify, we weren’t using the same network. I have experienced the issue today - I created this post right after quitting that match. After this, I haven’t encountered any more problems.
Oke so i got 3 times disconected while in game this season losing like 150-200 sr… evreytime i send email to support they say they cant refund the sr and i should post on forum… so here i am today it happened AGAIN… and i got put in the timout bench so i cant play with my friends and more anoying is that its in gold O.o played it for like 15 hours this season but this 3th time really is making me pissed off… like tf is the problem… i just want my sr and a stable connection to play is that to much to ask ? …
Today it took like 20 min before i finally could select what roles i wanted to play, when i played a few games i was playing with friends so we wait before the doors to Blizzard world open to us then in like the last few seconds i get ‘‘lost connection to server’’ and lose SR yet again, and when i click rejoin he didnt rejoin… 2 sec later it changed to play again but timeout @TechSupport #technical-support #SRLivesMatter #bug-report

The problem you are describing doesn’t seem to be what the other players at this thread are reporting. Yours looks like a simple connection issue. Here players are stating that the matches are restarting. Please, create your own thread, and include the results of a winMTR so we can try and have a look at what may be the cause.
