The war on "toxicity" has gone too far

Why do you say that? What information do you have that we dont?

It’s not rocket science. They would be in all news banning people forever who paid for their game.

They ban hackers all the time. They mute abusive people to start with, then its up to them.

By ā€œits not rocket scienceā€ i’m guessing you mean ā€œi dont know i’m making it upā€?

Hacking is manipulating with their code. That’s a different thing.

Yes, I’m making it up. Whatever man. Just ask yourself why they are not banning people forever who are ā€œtoxicā€.

Bye.

Why when it is legally ? obey the rules and nothing happens simple don’t like it create your own game where you allow people to be like that.

Sure, its bad to ban people for being toxic, that’s why there are so many other things they can do to warn people to stop. They dont stop, they done play.

They ban people so those people have to buy another copy, that’s the reason they are not trying to solve toxicity problem. Money talks.

Sorry random but that makes no sense.

Money talks. When you have an incredibly popular game with a massive following and you improve that game by reducing toxicity, you have an even more popular game that more people want to play.

Good.

Honestly, did you expect anyone here to sympathize with your ā€œtoxicā€ friend? I’m surprised that you, as a support player who comes across mature and articulate, has friends like that. Someone so annoying they get silenced for weeks, if not months. To each their own. I couldn’t play with people like that.

But the insulted people also paid for the game

Haha, really? You honestly think Blizz can’t ban you for whatever reason they choose? Are you actually that deluded? I’m starting to get where all of your anger stems from.

It’s their toy - not yours. They can take it from you at any time. Have a look at the ToS.

Nothing changes then.

You honestly believe they would ban someone forever just for trolling? It’s against the consumer rights. They are allowed to ban you from the more serious competitive but not from the actual game (QP etc) they are also allowed to silence you forever but they are not allowed to ban you from the game forever (apart from hackers but that’s a different story because they are manipulating their code)

This summarises it…

At least read everything after it too.

I did, it wasnt relevant.

To answer your question - Yes, I do believe that. Because it has happened before. Ever heard of Maximilianmus? He got hardware banned for trolling.

So there’s that. Now that I’ve put you in your place - you’re free to have a look at what the ToS say about Blizzard issued bans. Go on, I’ll wait.

As you can now go to prison for online trolling/threats I’m pretty sure Blizzard would fully ban an extreme case (to avoid bringing the game into disrepute).

Threats is something totally different. I’m not including real life threats. I’m talking about simple harmless trolling.

And what did he do?

Of course they probably wont ban people for harmless things. They can though. I’m getting confused what your argument is now, or if you’re just arguing for the sake of it.

My point was always about usual trolling. Not hacking, not real life threatening left and right or something like that.
