Whats a point of people having private profiles if u can still be toxic by searching up info?
This profile is open but i was in comp with thrower who got toxic, and he was confused how i can have +50% winrates with my most played characters and i was confused because he knew the exact winrate i had that moment, and yes, i did double check that my profile is not even open for friends.
Idk what the program is, because i dont’t use any myself, so some app tracking my winrate because i use it is also not possible.
with OW1 there were websites who tracked the statts but you had to give them permission to track it. Not aware of any such websites for OW2 though
This information shouldn’t be hidden anyways.
I really don’t care because not insecure. Only info that shouldnt be hidden is do person plays character, but if u think about it if some app can see profiles of players who has it put private , i bet their cheat detection has hole too
I would take the compromise of seeing heroes and time if they really want to protect peoples feelings. But information is needed to actually play the game properly.
Their cheat detection seems to be working ok, not too many of the weirdos floating about atm.

Their “protecting feelings” system sucks tho too when draw feels like lose so i do not expect they will change things, I wish they would put rule on comp that you actually need have time to unlock character in competive, not just in hero gallery
I don’t agree with that for unlockling heroes. But I do think pandering to the softest people isn’t the best idea.
If you are ashamed of what it says in your profile. Do something about it, don’t hide.
Don’t think there is any website or stuff that gives out your info unless you have authorized them to do so .
People like to use info in petty fights.
