i love how i’m getting punished in QUICK PLAY not even comp because my internet is bad quick play is supposed to be casual so it shouldn’t even matter if someone leaves on purpose in the first place but now i have to wait two hours if i wanna play anything that isn’t custom i can’t even play against ai?
It’s there to punish the annoying queue dodgers and people who quit because they can’t win.
Sadly, innocent people like yourself are just collateral damage in deal with those.
They should find a way to figure out types of leavers and punish accordingly. Until then, try finding a solution to your internet problems.
No other game does this for casual mode - to my knowledge. Blizzard must of got their wires crossed when they brought this in for “Quick Play”. Should rename it to “No Longer Quick Play”.
I agree, it should be removed.
Not sure a typo is trolling. But what you just did is.
Lmao you should not play with a bad connectio
Nice try with the ninja edit there…
The original:
only started being bad recently either way my point is still valid
Yeah, was typing on my phone while walking.
The thing you’re trying to “gotcha” me with doesn’t even make sense. Hence needing to edit.
There was no “ninja” about it. Not that I need to explain that, it quite clear it was a typo.
Stop being selfish and think you are special and can ruin others games.
I don’t play casual, but I’d expect to be able to leave if I want to. It’s casual, like all other games. Maybe just reduce the xp earnt if they fail to complete the match.
selfish how? i just don’t wanna be punished for a casual gamemode
No one wants to be. But leaving any multiplayer game is an inherently selfish act. Even if for good reasons.
But also, people don’t want to backfill… or get games loaded with backfill players as the match making for them isn’t tight. Which is why those games swing very quickly.
They’ve got the data that shows these small punishments have significant reduced leavers and improved quick play match quality. So someone’s going to have to come up with a far better idea to usurp this, because it is proven to have had a positive impact.
No your point is not valid
Actually that wasn’t trolling at all, yet Blizzard decided to remove his comment because of report abuse once again done by yours truly.
Indeed, yet he calls it a “typo”. He clearly called him salty, and thinks an edit will make us forget he said that. But as usual, Blizzard ignore such behavior and punish the innocent.
I typed sadly, and it auto corrected to salty, this is true. It was correct once I spotted it a few hours later. I’ve also not flagged any post, nor noticed any disappear in this thread. Probably because after I corrected it and clarified it was a simple typo, I didn’t return (until my previous statement).
This nugget from an old support comment might be worth remembering.
"it doesn’t matter how many people report your post. The only thing that can happen outside of Moderator review is the post is temporarily hidden. Only if reviewed and the moderator agrees that the post may violate policy will anything happen. "
Mass flagging, same as in game with mass reporting, doesn’t really do anything of note.
We all know that’s not true. The fact it took you “hours to notice” is just another lie.
Find something funny about mass reporting as you do? Blizzard should look into it and clarify.
Actually yes it does.
I type regularly while walking and never have any issues.
I think you needed that edit to avoid repercussions as you most likely realized how toxic your reply was.
Considering who you replied to, i’m having a hard time believing you.
Exactly, he did indeed call him salty.
This is just them, gaslighting.
Streamers have proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that the system is fully automatic. The only time a moderator will intervene is things get really out of hand.
When it comes to the in-game report system it’s the same thing, well, actually it’s 100% automatic… People have been reported as being toxic in chat even while having their chat turned off, yet still get a warning then get banned/suspended/silenced and i’m one of those people. I had my chat turned off and still got a warning at first for chat toxicity, then a chat suspension for a week. Why? Because people are salty and hate to lose and will do anything to damage the winning team’s members, and the best way to do that with this system is to mass report someone.
You see, reports stack and will stay for weeks if not months and the more reports you get, the higher the risk of being warned, then getting banned/suspended/silenced and it doesn’t take all-too many reports to get to that point. All it takes is for you to run into extremely toxic and salty players who’ll report you as a group, or get others to join them in doing so.
The system doesn’t work the way you think it does and there’s no point debating that any further as it has as i said, been proven to be fully automatic.
