To my dear DPS mains

NO its not the supports fault if you get despawned instantly from an headshot or by a burts of damages that no one can outheal and NO Kiriko, Baptiste or Mercy will not waste their res/invulnerability with a cooldown long as fleck cause it might be better used to save the rest of the team instead of YOU. And NO its no longer the role of a Rein or any barrier to stay idle doing nothing so you can pew pew safely

Honestly im getting tired of dps complaining about the other roles cause now they actually have to learn how to position themselves and be smart for once.
Sure a tank will offer barrier from time to time to close the distance but then they will engage and go in to start the fight. Then Support will patch the damages during a brawl BUT they will also use utility and deal damage too cause again some damages cannot be outhealed which require positioning carefulness and map awareness which a lot of dps seems to lack

So if you happen to be one of those DPS main who complain about the rest of your team just cause you were easier to read than a Disney Book i hope you’ll step on a lego

Vent over.

My absolute favorite scenario is and forever will be > Flanker/s casually walking by our tank/dps’s > you and your support comrade are :skull: > “need healing” spam > voice/text "Heal? Hello?! Can I get a ******* heal you “insert insult” > then comes my favorite line I love to say it “No peel no heal”

it’s always the unbelievable sense of entitlement when they have the nerve to run out of spawn, feed, then complain about the lack of heals while the supports are still on the ‘death spectating screen’

honestly i can’t say much bc i’ve maimed dps for as long as i can remember but i’m trying to open up my selections and dive into support with baptiste and lucio mainly but at least now i know what not to do

i know to wait for the mercy respawning so she can tag along with you with g.o. and get to the team faster; i know to body block mercy when she’s res-ing; i know to protect support like my life depends on it (because it literally does); and even i know that if you’re not getting heals, it’s usually not the supports’ fault

it’s always best to check what you’re doing and how it can be improving before criticising others for trying their best

I wished they buff Mei’s wall, can’t even cover escapes anymore.
I wished this game was more about being a hero rather than, "Spend!!! Spend!!! SPEND!!! “Give me money!!! MONEY MONEY MONEY!!!”
BUY BUY BUY!!!

The game isn’t about spending. That’s a players choice. The actual game of overwatch hasn’t changed.

Tip, just play, don’t look at the cosmetics.

I know that but that’s where the focus is for Blizzard, if they wanted to focus on making sure the players are happy they wouldn’t be advertising skins like they are, They would be making the game fun and adding the modes they players were requesting and running off developers who were trying to make Overwatch 2 into a more a complete game.
Now they are gone and the game is given to us in pieces with real promises of ever being complete with their heads so far up in esports it pretty clear OWL players will come first before regular players.
I love the game myself but I can no longer deny these issues, I had a match with a Roadhog player and it was totally one sided.

They are a shareholder owned business. Of course their focus is on making money.

Development of OW2 is on going. The PvP is just a rushed out side part of the game. Which is why there’s been so many issues. People forget it’s still early access.

Hogs OP and getting nerfed. That’s coming in a couple of weeks. Should have been sooner, but that’s a Sony issue not blizzard.

Why are you arguing with someone who isn’t disagreeing with you?

I don’t agree with most of what you’ve said. Youve misunderstood how this works.

They need to make money. Without money, development doesn’t happen.

This is why OW1 ground to a halt.

Okay fine you’re right I’m wrong.
You good?

I know I was right.

In future just don’t bother looking at the money side of things. Enjoy the free game you have, and when it isn’t fun, stop.

The monetisation isn’t going anywhere. So all you can do is your small bit of not enabling it, or giving it the time of day.
