My team is still poorly visible. Maybe you should make them visible as healers see them?
That’s the benefit of playing healer though, it’s their job to know where their allies are and if they need healing. Having everyone on your team clearly visible kinda removes the need for communication…
The need for communication will not disappear, as the visibility of the allies through the walls simply improves the understanding of Allied positioning.
and communication will always be necessary that would properly interact with the team.
Who needs communication when you can see your allies, if you have allies jumping around somewhere in a room popping off shots then clearly they may need help so there is no need to scream down a mic or spam the comm wheel for assistance.
Personally I just don’t think it’s necessary, let healers keep the unique trait.
The allies ’ ability to see through walls, already have. Only from her little sense if you didn’t can identify who is who.
As I have said, with this ability will not understand the intent of your allies, and only allow to correctly determine the location.
And Yes, many things will not have to speak into the microphone, because awareness of the required action is faster than the pronunciation of words.
Communication need that people in the battle knew exactly when fokusit need to throw a graviton, who need to heal or resurrect who protect or shield.
So many things need to pronounce in a voice chat. And the ability to see allies nor as no substitute for meaningful communication.
In addition, stands out with a different color of the healers through walls, it would be welcomed.
This would actually work.
Correct me if I’m wrong but healer sees players through walls with silhouettes of different colors:
- Green indicates that the player is fully healed.
- Yellow indicates that the player is wounded.
- Red indicates that the player is at critical health.
Since the devs want non-healers to know the teammate’s location, too, without making the benefits of supports obsolete, all they need to do is give teammates the same silhouettes but with a different color than supports see, like blue or cyan.
The new blue outlines work great for me though.
It seems to me, the reluctance to do the benefits of supporting obsolete, it’s all trivia. Nothing from this will not change.
If everyone would see through walls as well as healers, nothing wrong with that will not.
Given that this ability has already begun.
I think it will only get better. Because, at the moment this ability looks defective.
In the chaos of battle is not enough time to consider these subtle silhouettes.
Hold on a second, if I recall correctly, aren’t non-support teammates already able to see their allies when they are in combat?
You could see your teammates through walls before via triangles above the player. They do change color from blue to yellow, if they are in combat, don’t they?
If that’s the case, then it would be no problem. Well, it might be debatable on a designer’s perspective but that’s not important now.
