Quick question. If I queue for ANY mode (including training), my queue times are way over 10 mins but if I queue QP I wait anywhere from a few seconds to a min or 2 at most. What is up with that?
qp is the default mode, so more people play that mode than any other, resulting in shorter queue times

probably, but qp queues are still shorter due to very loose matchmaking
That isn’t quite true either. Only thing “loose” is the SR limit on stacks. Otherwise it just does the same thing.
But the queue times were never THIS long, especially DM. It’s very strange.
Its 3-4 weeks till OW2, and you expect quick queues?
People just aren’t that invested in OW1 now.
Many people play arcade mode for the lootboxes, but since there are no more events until OW2 and it’s likely that currency will be invalid for any OW2 material as well, there’s little point in many people playing. Many people have already gotten their non-event skins by now.
Good news then. I believe the last “event” they will be doing is to have everything available to buy in some last chance style event.
When is that coming?
I’d guess next week. It’ll be the last 2/3 weeks of OW1.

Good looking out, but I’ve nearly squandered all my currency with the last event. I’ll see what crumbs I can gather during that period.
