EDIT: Windows Update 22H2 fixed the issue <==
When i join group chat for voice communications, i instantly get this error. “You have been removed from voice chat. if this problem persists please check your audio devices and your networking setup.”
Voice Chat works on my secondary windows 10 pc on the same network, connected directly to the router. Im running widows 11 on the affected gaming pc by the way…
My microphone/s works just fine in for instance counter strike and recording software, even in battlenet, just not in Overwatch…!
Ive tried EVERYTHING! like really, everything, i searched this entire forum dry for similar topics!
Running battlenet client+launcher and overwatch launcher + overwatch in retail folder as admin.
Tried different recording devices and playback devices. Tried with and without the 2x allow apps exclusive checkbox under controlpanel/sounds.
Ive tried disabling all other devices then the defaults.
Updated all drivers, windows, router, bios etc etc…
Disabled 2 things/protocols in the router, that i cant remember the name of. was a solution from another topic.
Tried deleting folder documents/overwatch/settings
Did scan and repair + reinstall of overwatch 2.
Uninstalled realtek drivers /sonic studio / Nahimic which im not using anyways.
Port forward, and firewall forwards.
Tried via mobile internet
Did the disable/enable thing in windows settings under microphone permissions… (Overwatch is not listed there by the way…)
I have so log info here…
