Was just playing Competitive CTF, was playing as Rein and brought the flag all the way back to our capture point only for it to, for no apparent reason, drop from me about 2-3 steps from the point and spawn as dropped a little bit from the centre of the map towards the enemy spawn. I didn’t use my shift ability (which I know would have dropped the flag) and even if I did for it to spawn where it did is a clear bug. The rest of my team was just as confused as me.

Unfortunately we can’t investigate bugs related to game mechanics from the support forum. Keep in mind this forum is aimed towards support with technical issues; installation, crashes, connection issues, performance, etc.
The best thing to do is posting this information on the Bug Report Forum:
This way the issue will be investigated directly by the development team, since they do check that forum personally. On top of that, it’s easier for them to check the impact an issue has on the community if they have all the reports on the same place, making it easier to prioritise them accordingly.
Due to the amount of reports they receive, they usually don’t answer every thread there, but don’t worry; they’ll check the issue anyway.
