What do you do with one tricks?

What do you do when your team pick any of these in ranked:

Orisa is getting countered by enemy Zarya, and refuses to swap?
Hanzo/Widowmaker who has 15% aim/ Genji who dives in and dies - And they refuses to swap?
Ana who cant land a heal beacuse of aim(or focuses for sniping), Moira who refuses to heal and prio dmg, Mercy pocket healing only his duo premade, - And they refues to swap?

Personally: i report them. To my eyes that’s griefing and blocking team progress. OW is constant flow in game, if needed you have to react to enemy picks to increase ur chances to win.
I’ve lost many… many games because of 1 trick genji or hanzo mains who play them because of ‘‘ninja’’ (or cool cyborg ninja w/e) and they are just so bad, but they refuse to swap and thus makes harder to win the match.

No you lost because of yourself

You report people for playing the hero they want to in a video game.

That’s really embarrassing.

Look, if you want a team with a comp that you approve of, then rally some friends together and roll into battle as a 5 stack.

If you’re just going to report people for playing the video game, you need to just quit.

I think that makes sense in comp ( in QP that is nonsense ). This is a game where team composition and coordination is quite important, if someone is feeding because is being hard countered and refuses to swap in comp, that is throwing the game.

It is.

But also, it’s a video game. A sense of perspective is needed.

If you lose a match. The world isn’t going to end. It’s not even going to notice.

In QP thats understandable but in comp we should do our best to win. There is no sense in keeping playing an hero that is being hardly countered by enemy team if we want to win, we’ll have 1 person causing an annoying experience for 4 other people.

Neither a report, a penality will be only triggered if that person becomes annoying in other games too.

Play to win doesn’t mean losing sense of reality.

It’s a video game. You’ll lose sometimes.

Don’t think too deeply about it. Players are annoyed going into the game, they’re looking for an excuse.

If I’m the one trick, and someone start whining about it. I’m muting them, and doubling down.

Remember you can play to win, and not be a baby about losing.
