What drugs are in anas nano boost?

I recently learned that some drugs like meth make the user feel like their invincible/unstoppable and Ana’s nano boost instantly came to mind since characters receiving it say things like “I feel unstoppable”.

So my question is…does Ana put her teammates on meth?

Probably not.

I am not sure you can apply to much real world logic.

Now i wonder if there’s now a mass epidemic of nano boost addiction in overwatch

100% meth. I’ve seen the way Genji players beg for it, and get the jitters if they don’t get it

No drug, at least not one comparable to anything known to us. As the name states, Ana uses nano technology on her subjects and we don’t have anything medical on that level yet. Yes I’m fun at parties.

This is a very amusing comment and I will reward you with +1 internet for that.

I shouldn’t reveal this secret and I might get banned for it, but the people deserve to know: It’s the power of encouragment. She’s your grandma, telling you how good you are which always gets the best out of you. Have you never wondered how her bio nade heals one person but harms the person next to them? There are not drugs. She’s a lovely old lady who cares for you very much and knowing that you will perform at your very best.

This is like a revelation. I never realized it was a nano boost of love :hushed:

This is what the forums should be. Fun nonsense that makes people question each others sanity lol.

(Not the other nonsense we get from some of the grumps)

I just woke up and could use a ”you’re powered up! Get in there” before work

or it could be just like most performing enhancing drugs that they do just feel more capable or it could possibly even be a placibo effect bringing forth the power of the individual itself, mind over matter kind of thing.

or it could be a mind altering drug that lets them push themselves beyond their own limits or perhaps make themselves see themselves as superior.

drugs can affect you in so many ways.

i prefer astute perceptive questions about the game itself.
how others perceive the game in terms of balance or nature of it.

these kinds of discussions are just fluff to me, sure it’s a nice change of pace, but it doesn’t really challenge my perceptions of how i view the game or give me any valuable insight to more what i feel is more important parts of the game.

Totally agree, but it is just fun to see weird conversations, make people laugh a bit.

true, and yet when i pose a question that i can’t answer myself i get zero replies on it, i’m a bit jelous.

It is ok, I just get called out by the toxic kids that don’t like that they have to improve if they want to climb.

thanks for the reply btw, but yeah, people will allways find a scapegoat.
i know personally i blame most of my woes on characters i find to be too strong with a heavy bias, but as of late i’ve grown indifferent to it.

like even if they were shown that they statistically are it’s not gonna change my situation anyways.

Yeah. We all know Echo, Sigma, Ball were strong, and they’ve given them small nerfs.

But even if someone is waaaaay over powered, it is up to you to find a way to either work round it or embrace it.

The inherent strength of a hero goes up and down all the time. So it is all about adapting, surviving and learning how to thrive with the tools available to you.

on pure basics i think mobility is just the strongest thing you can have in overwatch, however there are ways to compensate somewhat but i don’t think the exchange is 1 to 1.
but as far as metas coming and going, to me those feel really random because you can make an argument for most metas being the strongest since people rarely know if they played a worse comp or if they just played that comp badly.

so i do agree with you that the best thing you can do is adapt to what’s happening, how you adapt is personal.
some might swap characters, some might just truck along with the same character and the same playstyle as ever and still find success, some play the same character but in a different way.

any way you can adapt and do well is fair game.

anyways, back to OP’s original topic, i don’t want to derail the thread further

Yoo Nightwing, you remember my thread last week about the cheater I encountered and the replay code I posted? Well the thread got hidden shortly after I posted it, even though I didn’t mention any names.

You gave me advice to report him so Blizzard would take care of it, which is good advise I totally agree with, well, I gave it a week and absolutely nothing happened (no green notifications). I even sent an email to hacks@blizzard.com, zero response. I’ve had this before where I played VS an aimbotter and everyone in my random group noticed it and reported the guy but nothing happened. This is the second time it goes this way. They always say “report blabla and it does help blalbla” but they don’t give a single #@!$! .

Now to be clear, I’ve been playing since open beta and I’ve only encountered like 3 cheaters and maybe some that I wasn’t aware off so let’s so 8 cheaters in total, which is a very impressive ratio in a positive way for 5 years of play, but the 3 that I encountered and were very obvious like the one in the replay code I posted, were not taken action against. I’ve added the last one to my avoid list so I could track him and the bastard is still alive and kicking and I can even see his account leveling up. Pisses me off tbh.

It takes time. And even if they get actioned you don’t always hear anything about it.

There was a ban wave the other day, but if he is only using it occasionally, and no one is reporting him, he is going to survive a little longer than some.

He will go soon enough.
