What happens if you buy the Legendary Edition upgrade and you already have the skins?

So the upgrade is on a half price deal, and I’m tempted, but I already have all 10 of the legendary and epic skins listed, already own Tracer in HOTS and don’t care about any of the other rewards, so for me it’s 10 Euro for the 5 Origin Edition Skins, most of which are on heroes I never play, so…

Or, do you get some gold compensation for the skins you already own? That might make it worthwhile…

Even tho you don’t play them, you can’t expect to get gold compensation because you don’t play those heroes. You don’t get anything else than the 5 origin skins.

That’s not what i said, at all, not even close.I asked if there was any gold compensation for the 10 Epic and Legendary skins I already own, not the Origin Edition skins that I don’t own.

I purchased Legendary Edition as an upgrade but only because I wanted the BlackWatch Reyes Reaper skin. I don’t remember getting anything extra. It would have been a better idea to buy Legendary at the beginning.

Thanks, thought so but good to get confirmation. Think I’ll be passing.

Greetings Zadkiel,

as already mentioned by TRON, you unfortunately will not be compensated for any items included in the Legendary Edition that you might already have.

Is Widowmaker’s Noire skin included in the Legendary upgrade?

Nope. That’s a pre-order bonus. Can try searching for a code online but probably gonna be expensive.

Thanks. It’s a real shame. 10 Euros when all I’m getting is the Origin skins isn’t worth it in my opinion, but if they threw in 200g for each Legendary and 50g for each Epic skin that was in the bundle but I already owned, it probably would have tipped me over into buying it.

A $10 upgrade for 5 origins skins isn’t a lot compared to loot boxes prices considering that boxes drop legendaries rarely. Those who want one of the origins skins don’t have much choice, the upgrade is the only way to get them.
