The just for you shop shows me skins that I can already just buy from the hero gallery by viewing their skins so what’s the point of that shop when they don’t offer it slightly discounted or anything?

Like having a SALE section when you walk into a shop. It is just to catch your eye and hope you buy something.

The “just for you” shop is terribly poorly managed (like the entire marketing department in reality) because it basically only offers you items that you haven’t unlocked, available at any time when you open the gallery, and doesn’t even take your main heroes into account favorites to propose them to you. sometimes it offers you the OW2 bundle of seasons 1-2 (now available at the single acuqisot), but… it’s not a great deal to spend a little more just to save on charms, icons, player cards or souvenirs. or in any case, it is not worth caring about the offer.
The problem is that it is the first marketing contact that players who don’t want to browse the gallery have. Paradoxically, it is a showcase that works, but the way in which it is managed is unethical: it does not show you comparisons of actual availability of objects with the gallery, nor does it allow you to evaluate individual prices from the gallery itself (in short, you have to check them manually ). And worse than anything, there is no real rule for managing all non-unlockable content: promotions? external offers? directions to get something? all online, and sometimes there are free OW2 skins that were sold at full price a month earlier. the management is extremely dysfunctional, which is why fewer and fewer people are inclined to trust the shop.
