Hello, when will something be done about this? I am sick and tired losing games like this and experiencing so many bad behavoir daily. Is this how competitive is meant to be? For me to not get a single good game today? Losing my points like this? Is this how competitive is meant to be? Sadly I don’t think these guys will be banned anytime soon as well.
Mate, if you can’t post images, at least use code …
inline
block
For inline, place ` before and after your link
For code block place ``` on first line, add your content on a new line and finish it with a tripple on a new line(doesn’t need to be new line, but it’s more readable).

This way people can at least copy/paste(or even go to in chrome) in browsers…
Losing games. That happens. Remember, the match maker is actively trying to make you NOT climb. It’s job is to make you lose exactly half of your matches. You have to beat the match maker to climb.
Wow. I have never seen anything that toxic. The worst thing I have got are idiots calling hero this or hero that “Cancer”. Oh and I DID report someone the other week for using slurs, but nothing like this.
The problem is the matchmaking is just bad plain and simple, you lose more SR than you win so with a forced 50/50 win rate you lose SR way to fast. Plus with no role queue you get 4 tank/support/dps mains or something on the same team and usually just get rolled. Role queue would fix a lot of the issues with the community right now.
The game makes people toxic because they feel like they have no control over anything. Especially people who like to be competitive and try their best.
Start filling, and often. It is the best way I know of to avoid toxicity entirely, that and not engaging a fuming lunatic in conversation who will say stuff like that in chat. It’ll be less fun but winning is always fun so in terms of that it balances out (if you win, hehe). At least you’ll feel better for being the better person, I hope.
you mean forced 50/50 chance of winning, there’s a difference, there’s no such thing as forced win rate.
People misinterpret what it means and spread the myth around. What happens is, matchmaker tries to make the match even and fair by giving you, as well as the other team, close to 50% chance of winning/losing that match. It’s not forcing you to win or lose the match, that’s nonsense.
In addition to FranksDrebin’s post, here’s the forum post by Scott Mercer regarding groups and matchmaking.
In this thread, Scott made a list on how your SR is influenced:
What was the quality of the enemy team and your predicted win chance? You gain more on a win if your predicted win chance was <50%. You gain less on a win if your predicted win chance was >50%.
Are you playing consistently? New accounts or accounts that have been inactive will see larger magnitude changes both upwards and downwards. This settles back to normal as you play additional games.
Did your 3000+ SR recently decay due to inactivity? If this happened, you’ll gain more SR on a win until you get back to your “undecayed” SR.
Are you a Platinum-tier player or below? If you performed particularly well or worse than what is considered a typical performance during a match, then there’s a small SR modification to reflect that.
Is your current SR really high? Your SR increases less on a win than it decreases on a loss as your SR approaches the systemic limit of 5000.
Whenever it wants to make a game, it calculates an expected win percentage for each team based on the SR of all the players. If one of the teams doesn’t have at least a predicted 40% win rate, then we simply don’t create the game.
the 50/50 is the last test. A game with random players will be created. After that, MM checks if the winchance is almost fair. If it isn’t the case, it will discard the game and look again.
MM won’t switch the players to make an even win chance. It creates the team first and then checks wether or not it should start the game.
