There are 24 languages in Europe and most of the time the people on my team end up not understanding my callouts or I don’t understand theirs and it’s frustrating for both parties. I know it isn’t their fault for not knowing English but I’m not sure how else to communicate in the moment as I was never taught any European languages, only Chinese. Do you guys have any tips on what basic phrases to learn or how to work around the language barrier?
You can always learn things like push, fall back, or regroup.
But sometimes it is just easier to not sweat it. As long as you’re doing your job, the rest will fall into place. Most people are paying enough attention to be aware of most things going on so should need it calling out, in theory.
