What's the counter-play to Sombra's EMP and hack?

Sombra’s pickrate is dog****, but with more tweaking she’ll become too strong.
Hack is too low risk/high reward. Emp is straight up OP.
Educate me please on how to deal with Sombras.
(also, let Zarya revert the hack on hacked teammates with her bubbles pls or I’m about to kms)

and what make you think that shatter is a fun ability to play against

Positioning, call outs, peeling from team mates, the classic stuff when a flanker is attacking you.
For hack yep, turn around fast and shoot her or be near cover so you can stand behind and interrupt the hack.

  • Widowmaker has an ultimate that makes Sombra’s invisibility almost obsolete
  • It has an average range so not sticking that close together works
  • She can’t be invisible while using the ability so you can see her before she uses it
  • Zen can press his Q before the EMP
  • Any healer can just look at Zenyatta to heal him up. Brigitte is especially good as long as she isn’t EMP’d too

There’s plenty of ways to deal with her EMP let alone the hack. Git gud is the best advice I can give

There is none. Thankfully she is one of the least picked characters, one of Blizzard’s good ideas. Imagine if she was viable or, god forbid, strong? She was at some point and got hammered down in hours. Such a frustrating hero deserves to only be niche, deal with it.

Hold right mouse button counters everything

nerf her until shes garbage and then remove her from the game because shes very unviable

shatter could be blocked by a lot of things it is buggy as all hell

emp is unblockable disables everything other than primary fire for most heroes

and shatter stuns you for quite some time and if you have no rein on your team you cant really play around it

her hack can be cancelled really easily, move out of los or hit her once, if you’re having trouble actually talk to your team and make sure there’s someone near you

For both you can just get out of LOS and hack is countered by clicking sombra once and hack goes on a 2 second cooldown. Also EMP is just as unavoidable as the other ults in the game unless you get out of los and Zen can counter it by staying away from his team, making another healer left click him or pressing q himself before emp goes off since it has a cast time and going out of invis has a delay.
