I lost 3 games in a row as Support hero but no matter how much I try playing better, healing and making them stay alive longer, resurrecting them, buffing them, the results are same. I cannot win. All for nothing. Keep losing SRs.
The stupid thing is, although I keep playing, spending hours on this game, I keep getting worse results in matches. Compared to previous season, how am I in a worse position? Why do I lose more than I win? I think I am going to lose my mind and go insane.
How are there Diamond, Master support players? Do they ALWAYS get GOOD teammates? For those who’re going to say, “You’re at your rank. Accept it.” are really wrong. I am supposed to be higher but won’t work with bad teammates.

Since you say “ressurect” I guess you are playing Mercy. You have to learn all support heroes, mainly Moira, Ana and Baptiste if you want to climb the ladder. Never play Mercy, she’s useless unless you only ress your smurf friend who is boosting you or have a c-ncer comp that relies heavily on all team members to be alive. The Mercy players who are high rank now is it because they got a head start by buying the game early and raising their MMR - which in turn became their SR - by abusing the support role to win against people who had total sh*t comps.
Part of playing support is learning “triage”: healing the people most important to your success. If Genji is diving the enemy Winston and dying every 10 seconds just leave him, no amount of healing will save people who don’t want to live.
If your teammates are really that bad, consider swapping to Zenyatta or Baptiste. Both can help output damage, with Zen’s discord orb allowing you to focus down troublesome enemies, and Baptiste’s immortality field stopping them from dying. Support isn’t just healing, it’s covering your allies’ weaknesses, and every support has a kit designed to mitigate something different.
Mercy has the problem that she’s at the mercy (heh) of her teammates to get eliminations, which is why it’s a good idea to be proficient in most of the support heroes. Take a break from comp to try them in quick play, see if there are any you enjoy.
And keep in mind that even if you play perfectly you may still lose, you are only 1/12th of the players in any given match. Nothing you do as a support is going to make your tanks push in, or get your DPS to swap. Take SR with a grain of salt, or just do what I do and play for those majestic gold guns.
atm its not as smooth as it was to ladder as support. honestly it has never been so hard. if they keep 2 2 2 forced, a lot of healer buffs need to happen or this game is going down the downward spiral.

It’s not as smooth since you actually face real tank and support mains now, instead of dps players being “forced” to play them. Before the team that even had healers had the upper hand but now you actually also have to be skillful - even as a support.
Lol fool yourself more. Proly in 100 games you get a tank and a support who are actually mains , rest of them are just dps mains.
Heal for ult charge. As for bad teammates the only thing you can do is use find teammates button it helps lots, always communicate and dont get toxic

this is not useful at all. since its pure speculation.
Pure speculation in relation to what? You claiming it’s “harder” when everyone are forced to play 2-2-2? Isn’t that also speculation and only your subjective view of it?
There is none.
Prior rq you could swap from healer to tank/dps and swing the match. but not anymore, lmao, get screwed.
my statement is not speculated, its easier to ladder when you have the freedom to pick every hero in the game. WHy? because the possiblty is much higher that anyone could swap to a counterpick they think is good in a certain situation. Fixing roles takes away the spontanous possiblity to counter.
And countering is everything in this game.

Yes, but your opponents also had this ability. But there is also alot of counters to basically everything within your role as well. The main problem is that people think that a support only needs to heal and a tank only needs to hold up a barrier and then you will win. Before, the Mercy would swap to a Widow (and most often fail miserably) to kill the Pharah when it would be more reasonable to swap to Baptiste so you still had a decent heal output while also having a counter for her.
sorry there is not. dps hero pool is the largest and for tank and support (which q is the fastest) has the lowest hero pool.
TLDR roleq made laddering as support or tank undoable. Roleq added significant waiting time (comparing to dota fast q this is a joke). Roleq should be an advancement, but its 10 steps backwards. After Roleq hit live Overwatch playerbase lost so many people… its too sad for this game…
