It’s not Overwatch. It’s human nature. It happens all over the gaming world, in a bunch of different genres, different platforms. Look at our world today, in 2022, look how mad it is.
Toxicity isn’t because of Overwatch. Toxicity is because of humanity. You’re just experiencing it in a game called Overwatch in ways such as “ez” etc.
There. Now you don’t need to worry about it any more.

Grettings @Kree , usually people that saying to others people such ‘‘gg you are bad’’,usually those people are deeply bad,my english is not perfect,but I’ll give you example,if I told you something like that,it mean I am bad,so I will agree with someone’s post below it is in human nature to be like that.Some people IQ is really low level,less then mine Endorsment level 5 ,and they think,if they say to someone they are bad,they will become better.

No it’s not. It’s overwatch. That kind of behavior is pretty unique to this community. I’ve played various multiplayer PvP games and the “gg ez” stuff is pretty rare. This community is uniquely dog water.

I only ever see it said on OW, no other game I’ve played I’ve seen that. But he’s saying it’s OW that “Ez” is a common troll remark, other games it’s something else.

Not really, in the past 20+ years of PvP gaming I’ve seen it in all games on the market.
It’s not a game thing, it’s a people thing, and as long as the game has toxic people with superiority complex you will see all forms of enemy trolling including “gg ez” since it’s an ultimate passive-aggressive dunk on the other guy XD
There is a very simple way to avoid this so called “toxic” behaviour.
Play better and win. It is a little out there as a solution I know, but if people take that effort they put into worrying about what people have said, into improving their positioning and so on… you’d probably of won the match and can “gg ez” them instead.
Yeah like a chain reaction. Someone says it in one game, and the people that hear it say it on other games, it’s like a trend lol. I haven’t heard it elsewhere though.

In CSGO if someone wins 16:14 the “gg ez” is a standard winning team response, especially when they were tryharding to win.
The funny part is that it’s usually being posted by the worst player on the winning team

Its fun to say because it really makes some people seethe for some reason.
I think it is one of those things that the typer thinks annoys people more than it actually does.
Most people won’t even notice it in chat.
It just shows a person’s true scummy character in my eyes. not a big deal though. There are toxic ones in all walks of life
Depends, if the other team was obnoxious during the game, then they fully deserve to be treated with some “gg ez”
