It’s supposed to be a public testing range, but nothing ever changes.
You can give feedback, but it’s just going to get put into the final game.
It’s just a way for pc players to see a new map or hero before it actually comes out.

Yeah, I 100% agree.
Currently the most relevant and valuable data comes from either the pros or ranked on live.
Perhaps they should insentivise playing comp/playng qp competitively on the ptr before a patch goes to live,
Like giving lootboxes or Mabye an exclusive skin to people who give Blizzard valuable data on the ptr or something along those lines but I sincerely doubt they would do this.
The PTR is here to test changes and see if there are no major issues with them (bugs or balance). The feedback is probably read but the devs always go with their changes unless it’s something utterly broken, not even sure it ever happened on OW.
It happened with Orisa in a minor way. Originally her gun had 200 or so ammo, but a week after she hit the ptr it was nerfed to 150. Her gun could almost fire continuously for an entire teamfight otherwise.
I don’t think anyone else has had a nerf while just on the ptr though.
