Seriously, when I need to heal her she has no defense, defensive matrix is 1 second crap that does not prevent anything. Flying is always crap as well since they get her robot down. She does not have ANY dps ability. All other tanks are so much better and thats why they pick them more (thanks God).
This is an odd complaint. She isn’t the meta off tank she used to be, but she’s fairly solid currently.
And will be quite strong in OW2 too.
It is not odd. She literally cant kill anything apart of ball. Cannot content anything, she is just a farming simulator for everyone else.
She can kill everything.
What rank are you playing in?
It’s definitely rank and skill dependant.
New players like her and if you don’t know how to use her effectively, she just feeds ult charge and doesn’t help the team.

@ArthasKing, I have to disagree with you. Diva is one of the best champion at Overwatch 1,she still will be good at Overwatch 2. This is a tank that u can do alot into the game Overwatch.She can fly,use Defensive Matrix,no need for reload,and amazing ult that can change flow game.
I am playing in gold/plat. Honestly, it is player-dependent. But even when the player is good with her, I ask them to change to Zarya/Hog. They do so much more. Dva with pocket from Mercy (me) can do something but my problem here:

She is very close range. Close range are a reaper, junk, etc. We usually have very hard time there.

Matrix is very short. Even if she flies back, she is on 100 HP and I am spending hell of a lot of time healing her.

Zarya and Sigma are very popular at my rank. They literally destroy her.
As Stannis said she does not reload but her damage is so light that barely can kill anything. About the ult, it is so so easily countered. When I see DVA I got either zen, bap or Lucio and deny any impact.
Also, I cannot see her picked much (thank God). Even a friend in master said that she is not popular there.
Oh. Never ask people to swap. You are in the same games as me, just focus on what you’re bringing to the table.
Zen doesn’t counter her ult, only saves himself. Bap is a good shout. But a good dva will just wait for lamp to be used then ult.
She isn’t meta right now true, but she’s still fairly strong. Her damage is only low if you are a passive player and stand away from fights.
dva is a great tank, very strong. just needs to be played right.

I agree. This was a little on the nose, so that is fair. But if you can’t take a joke, I start to lose sympathy.
