Ok then, i’m not even talking about the game here

i’m talking about the FORUMS

Like me reading a ten minute long argument between a toxic gold and an arrogant masters.

This game creates more problems than it solves

everyone so toxic! take a chill pill

oh and type something nice to actually answer peoples questions and not call them ‘mindless, arrogant bronze players with as much intellectual capability as a pebble’

It’s an FPS game. One shouldn’t necessarily agree with toxicity, but expecting there to be NONE is setting yourself up for disappointment.

Also, you’re right at the same time.
The forum is basically :

30% plat chat
30% mercy one tricks crying about DPS players
30% nerf reaper because I’m bad
9% broken PC posts in the competitive section
1% actually good arguments

Like i’ve said before;

It’s not the game we should blame, not even the creators.

It’s the players we should blame for being toxic to begin with, for really no reason. It’s YOU who have the responsibility to act the way you do, and what you chose to say or do as well.

Us as a comunity needs to learn to be nice and respect each other, but will the toxicity go away? No, never. So we should learn to make the best of it instead.

Most players are influence on the higher level players behavior when they are joining the game at first. this means that the higher level players are playing negatively with lower level players and showing the new players how not to play and act both in game and on the forums.

I feel like this might have been a certain gold player by the name of Sky and then something with, what a spider shoots out, aka inter"net".

Well i have met that person and that kind of behavior before, must say it really is something you see rarely though, usually people are rational and try to be some what reasonable (Many times still mostly in favour of themselves, but still).

I once debated him on a topic and i can tell you the words (Bronze, boosted, child, was some of the most used words in the whole post and i checked with ctrl-F lol).

you’re right… but the trouble is this game has been invaded by the typical CoD/Fortnight etc etc type of players who always BM are always nasty, and always thing everything that’s happening is someoneone elses fault, and you cant change these peoples minds all you can do is get rid of them

now yesterday I was playing some Teamfortress 2… arguably the best hero shooter ever made… me and this other guy on opposite teams were wreking the S**t out of eachother, he would dominate me, then I would turn the tables… and every kill we would BM eachother… then the teams got autobalanced and we were on the same team… he came on voice chat and was crying with laughter and he said it was the best rivalry he had in a long time and he was sad that he couldn’t get revenge and keep it going

now some would say that the BM between us was toxic… I say it was good banter and a lot of fun :slight_smile: but then again TF2 has more of a niche and mature audience these days

Since i’m a biologist studying the chytrid fungus that’s destroying amphibian populations, and already hundreds of species have disappeared off the face of the earth and I love frogs so definitely not fighting them :joy:
