I had a level 550, SR 1900 account before i got my new account. the new acc landed on SR 2450 after about 30 games with a 67% win rate on ana.
i kept on playing ana and got on a losing streak to 2050 SR. at this point i got a win rate of 35% on ana. around 2050 SR i decided to follow my dream and play dps. i really only enjoyed dps (like everyone else) but played support just to avoid arguments in my team.
after having a 500 SR losing streak i realize that life is too short to play what other expect you to play. from now on i will play only what i enjoy to play which is dps and mostly widowmaker.
widowmaker is in my opinion the most fun hero to play. she is really satisfying to get kills with. i think thats why she is so popular in overwatch.

-on new account you got a lucky streak in first 30x games, and placed 2500sr
-after playing more games, you correctly reached your actuall skill level of 2000sr

Then a game in which you depend on team mates might not be the best choice. There are endless number of games in which you are much more (or completely) independent from other players.
That doesn’t mean it’s a good thing in a team game. You can easily pick whatever you like by recruiting a team in LFG instead of solo queueing. It’s better for everyone - including you - when the team has a normal composition and players don’t have the same mains.
Widow is a hero to create and hold space (like rein but better).
If you cant then dont pick her(except to counter). If you still pick her it means you are trolling and people can report you.
For example in a game i played yesterday we had a widow on route 66 attack first point. First and main problem was our main tank (a rein) who didnt close the gap between him and the enemy orisa(i pushed him of the roof at the start and was now standing at the 2nd pomp ). And just stood still in front of the choke. So even if i destroyed the shield with pharah over and over again we didnt move forward. Our second dps was a widow. But he didnt position himself to look around the corner (choke) So he was defending all game long not creating any space. He wasnt bad but only space he controlled was the choke and the only enemy players he killed were the players who moved in front of the choke. So we werent able to push even further then the fist choke…
(didnt report anyone for trolling this time because the rein was a filler (not a tank main)) And i gave up too -> couldnt create space with pharah but didnt swap. (was the only one who pushed passed the choke after i stopped shooting at the shield, so i was the only target all the time -> both didnt work, but swapping to a tracer or something would have been the same with me as the only player the enemy has to target. Could have swapped to a main tank myself, but they already started the blaming and name calling , so i gave up. -> sometimes it is better to loose fast and start the new one ).
Your post tells me that when you played Ana you used her as a DPs and threw out a grenade once in a while to help a tank out. Also do you know how satisfying it is to land a 6 ball shots on a hanzo as Zenyatta? Whew. Widow wishes
You ever see those pictures or quotes that say “Los Angeles is full, go away”. Same thing with DPS. There’s enough of us, we don’t need any more of you. All the new age DPS mains are ruining the game. Whatever, you’re about 1500+ SR too low to ever be in the same game as me.
