So I haven’t played in a while and recently came back. The first thing I notice is this stupid role queue system? What the hell is the rationale behind this because it’s a complete waste of time. Now you have to tank or heal if you want a game in less than 10 minutes…
I Really don’t underdstand why it’s a thing? I Remember so many great games as odd comps, and little things you could do to save the day that are no longer possible. Remember when the payload was almost at the end and everyone would switch out to high dps chars and turn the tide? No more of that.
Also the fact I can’t switcharoo with my team, having a bad game as a healer? wanna trade with your dps buddy? Haha nuts to us right? As far as I can tell this is entirely to appease the vocal babies who throw games when they don’t get 2-2-2. But yet i’ve seen a bunch of people throwing games and being super toxic still…

Let’s say that this team-dependent game wasn’t really working out because people couldn’t function well as a team.
So it got forced like this, now of course we still have options for open queue’s now.
Though i cannot directly say that open queue will be better for the overall health of the game.
The big debates are over.

Though most stayed because people could enjoy the game more like this.
It’s true that queue times are an oversight, though this only is a thing for DPS players wanting to play DPS constantly instead of switching off.
Resulting in many issues.

Now high queue times can also be caused due to ranking difference, though i don’t think you can just simply fix that.
This issue could be helped a bit with Open Queue, but wouldn’t fix all of it.
So i’m quite unsure of what to think of a solution.
