Widowmaker Noire Skin [Questions]

The Noire skin, I pre-ordered the game on Xbox One. Got the skin LOVED the skin so much. Now this year, i built a PC i did alot of overtime to be able to afford and switch over to PC entirely. Which was successful and then i found out the Noire skin isn’t account linked or anything you only get it on the platform that you originally pre-oredered for.

The thing i wonder. Why didn’t they ever do it as an account skin? so if you was to ever switch platform at a later date you’d still have it as a reward for playing since day 1 it just may not have been on the same platform.

Do they ever plan to make it account linked? So only the accounts linked to your Bnet can use it. We know they can do it as the HoTS stuff was account linked. I originally went and got it for the Xbox One and found out i had it on pc as well.

Thank you for taking you time to read this, This isn’t a complaint post or anything its just me being curious and sharing my thoughts.

Blizzard isn’t able to do cross platform accounts. They would like to do that but cconflicts between the console service and PC service make it currently impossible to execute.

Not cross platform accounts, not what i mean at all. Just specific skins being linked to your Bnet. They’ve already done this before with Oni Genji and Police D,VA before they were in lootboxes when you unlocked them through HoTS it unlocked for all platforms you had linked to your Bnet.
