I am curious to know if there are plans to add Anti Lag 2 to Overwatch 2. Reflex is already added so I am sure adding Anti Lag 2 wouldn’t be too hard for us AMD users! It’s already in games such as CS2 or Apex Legends and it works flawlessly and helps games have a light mouse feel when cranking up the graphics settings. Please consider adding it, it wouldn’t take much effort but would be fantastic for all of us AMD users who exist!
Due to licensing. Probably never.
Don’t listen Roku, he is a shill probably receiving money for defending Blizzard by saying things like this one.
They don’t add AMD Anti Lag 2 because they cannot add it as a paid feature or they don’t have enought skills for it.
Currently the SDK is Open Source, there is no such things like licensing issues.
It’s also an in house built engine, so it might not be compatible at all.
So you agree with me, it’s a dev skill issue, not anything related with licenses as you said.
It needs to be licenced, but if the engine isn’t compatible, it isn’t compatible.
That isn’t a skill issue, that’s a design choice.
If anything it would require more skill to do it in house to the level they have, instead of using UE5.
I don’t think it needs a license, considering modders can add it to games which have reflex with ease.
Modders… the people that break copy right and licences to mod games…
Well, no. Of course they won’t need a licence, because they aren’t that interested in was legit or not.
The point is the Anti Lag 2 SDK is open source it can be added, they just choose not to add it. They have FSR, why not Anti Lag 2? I get that NVIDIA users are much greater than AMD, but if the technology is open source it is not that hard to add.
Being as they have an in house built engine for OW2. It’s probably more it can’t be added, rather than an active choice then isn’t it.
Exactly, there is no need of licensing. But as always Roku likes troll by sharing false information. Whatever it takes to defend the blues.
Would love to know how saying this isn’t going to happen is trolling
It is literally just incompatible with the engine they’ve built. Could that change, possibly. But Blizz don’t make major changes like that. They don’t like to spend the money.
