they returned a few times, during 2022-2023. However, the “OWL” as an e-sport event is no longer active, since it was an excessively uneconomical economic system for the views it expected to record.
blizzard is now running other more modest but more economically stable esports programs… but has not given any more news of OWL skins, during 2024 so far.
