This is just something I wish was in the game from the start, it’s nothing big and is just a ¨cosmetic thing¨
Some of the highlights are well… bad, or not that good and I don’t really like them, and like most people who I believe have about 90% of everything on every hero and like a few of us we like 1-3 of the scenes, but hate/dislike 1 or more.
So would it not be possible to add in a feature where we can deselect a scene that we don’t want to be seen when the game chooses one at random
I imagen it could either work the way where there is 2 buttons on the right side of the name of the scene that are at first grayed out at the moment that the feature is added in. Where the left one will turn green, and the other turns red when you click on it so then when you have finished a game and you either see your POTG or you go to your highlights then you will only see one of the scenes you have selected to see.
Here are some scenes that I don’t really like that much:
Baptiste - Blast off
Moira - Serve
Pharah - Slam dunk
Reinhardt - Snowball fight

If you consider those Moira, Pharah and Reinhardt highlight intros bad, sorry but you have very poor taste

Even though some are bad, it doesn’t actually matter which highlight intro there is. If you’re like me and have ‘Random’ selected, that’s what the game will give you. There’s no need for a “Selected random” as there’s 1 Play of the Game and you know where to find your highlights. Those who record them and upload/edit them into a montage either removes them (If it’s one you don’t like) or then you just accept that it’s a highlight that you don’t like representing that play.
A small problem with a simple solution. It’s such a minor thing, it would be unnecessary to implement.
When you started talking about highlights being bad, I thought you meant the highlight itself rather than the intro. I got an amazing highlight with Sombra a few weeks back which consisted of me hacking Roadhog then running away. It was beautiful. As for the intros though, if you don’t like some of them, just equip one you do like and change it every now and then.
