Something needs to be done about wrecking ball. He just recently received a pretty good buff while at the same time all the methods for dealing with him are being removed especially this new roadhog re work. It’s especially noticeable in open queue when other tanks have 300 health and wrecking ball rolls through with his shields over 1000. Even if you all disagree somehow it can’t be denied that he transforms the game into something completely different that honestly i dont enjoy playing. Without full team cooperation it’s just 10 to 20 minutes of pure frustration

What buff did Ball get? Hogs rework looks like an anti fun CC buff.

They reduced his weapon spread so he can really laser people down now
Unless the ball knows what he’s doing, they’re pretty easy to hose down.
Most tanks have something to slow him down with. A few supports have stuff to mitigate his impact pretty nicely.
And dps can hose him down and scare him away.
At least in gold games if you play as a group and don’t run off alone, a ball doesn’t have as much impact as the dps who kill you while you focus on the ball.
Get him low and make him retreat, kill his team while he’s gone.
Im in diamond/masters and if theres one in the game hes almost always good and the entire game just revolves around trying to deal with him. I play a lot of open queue i know a lot of people dont take it too seriously but open is real overwatch to me. Its like all the other tanks had a lot more hp taken off than him. So having a 500-1000 hp ball in your back line while theres still a rein swinging in your face makes it much more difficult to deal with

Up there the ball definitely does need more teamwork to deal with.
My experiences of him recently are all in mystery heroes, where the saving grace is that most people don’t know how to play him. Two balls at the same time are still a pain though.
WB is the most annoying tank. (close to Winston)
Yeah that change really doesn’t do anything. He’s still pretty ineffective against almost every tank
