Wrong regular comp rank

Hey! I have contacted blizzard yesterday about this, but they forwarded me to contact the bugs team.

They said this:

*Group Up with Higher-Ranked Friends: Queue up with friends who are in Silver or Gold. Winning matches in higher-average MMR lobbies will signal the system that you belong there, boosting your percentage gains.

If you try these steps and your rank remains completely frozen at 10% per win despite dominant performance stats, it is highly likely a backend database glitch affecting your account’s progression curve.

Since Customer Support cannot manually adjust competitive tiers, your best course of action is to head over to the official Overwatch Bug Report Forum.*

Thing is, I play with my boyfriend 24/7. He was also in bronze but as we played, he kept gaining 30%+ while I got only up to 12% progress. He’s already gold 4 while im hard stuck bronze, Which also means that I play in gold lobbies sometimes. I know im not in the right rank because I also reached pro on stadium competitive .

Im sorry for the ego but I’m destroying the bronze people.. I even get accused of being a Smurf and sometimes getting reported. Please help me out, bc for weeks I have been playing daily comp only and I actually feel bad for making people lose progress because of me.

Sadly the recommendation by Blizzard support to go to the forum, is a black hole. As far as I know, there’s no staff here answering questions or taking tickets. Overwatch is 10 years of spaghetti-code containing loads of database errors and corrupt data.

I have received notifications and emails from Overwatch regarding someone else’s account name and/or account and/or support ticket. This tells me that their data is not intact and has been corrupted over the 10 years they have run Overwatch.

About a year ago I played with a guy on discord who had an account that didn’t lose SR after a lost game. He could only gain 5-10% on a rank when he won, but he could also not lose SR when he lost. He contacted support and received the same answer as you: “go to the forum”. Needless to say, it was never resolved.

keep playing and destroy low rank people and get reported so ur acc ends up banned and then appeal. u cant do anything to get in contact with anybody, company has gone down the drain
