I came across yet another doomfist bug today. I made a short video about it here: - YouTube
I haven’t seen any information about this particular bug anywhere else.
Basically, if Genji dashes into DF as DF releases his rocket punch, Genji will be sent 2, maybe even 3 times further back than normal.
Just thought I’d bring it to the attention of the forums.

An old bug, known well, but only happens once in a blue moon.
It is really funny with these doomfist bugs, i see all matter of bugs related to Doomfist, but no one mentions his roof ability abusing with E, i mean Pharah cant charge her meter on sliding roofs, but doom can ramp up damage on them. Why he is able to shift/E or slam into and interact with roofs and slopes that make him fly/increase height, when those same interactions was nerfed with brig.
His Shifts range, when not at all charged and the knockback of said none charged shift. His carried momentum, when jumping in the middle of shift, changing directions ETC. Him hitting targets above or under him, when using shift. Him travelling down stairs with shift. Him uppercutting and slamming to terrain way above his current position.
I mean, when are people ever gonna mention those weird interactions/bugs, that help Doom immensely, but very unfairly for anyone on the other end.

I think the problem comes down to the fact that any ability that involves removing control from another player is always going to have issues that are difficult to fix. Examples being Rein’s Shatter (which still has problems), Mcree’s Stun (Which is just about fixed), Hog’s Hook (We’ll see what happens with the new changes), Brig’s Shield Bash, Zarya’s Grav (which has only just been fixed on PTR), Hammond’s Piledriver (which seems to be okay now).
But then you get a hero like Doomfist who’s ENTIRE KIT is built around taking control away from another player. It just means that there’s going to be a whole load of bugs surrounding him, and whenever they try to patch those bugs, they’ll just create more that could be even worse.
I think they intentionally leave some of the bugs (charging E on rooftops especially), because if they tried to patch it they might create something even harder to deal with.
Maybe they will, but it proves they are terrible developers who cannot balance and make the game an even playing field for everyone. Doomfist mains are quick to cry bugs, when it´s bad for them, but when are they ever mad at all the bugs they abuse every single game ?
