Overwatchers hate two things (well, they certainly hate a lot more things, but we will focus on two today) smurfs and the reporting system.
Blizzard don’t see problem with neither, but fortunately we can abuse the system to make it do it’s job properly.
All you have to do when you see a smurf is to report him. Yes, he doesn’t break any rules, it’s fully legal to have a smurf, but it doesn’t mean he should’nt be banned.
The reporting system doesn’t care if you play by the rules or you cheat, it minds quantity over quality. Just report, it’s this simple. If more Overwatch players start reporting smurfs, the smurfs will get banned.
Please consider reporting smurfs and spreading the word in order to make the game more enjoyable (at least until they fix the reporting system).

They cannot. Blizzard are second hand SE, you cannot imagine what joke they are. Most of them are either old or incompetent or both. They cannot fix some video issues, cannot improve the graphics of their games or improve the experience. I wont post the list of their offers because will get ban. But they are joke.
Look how many times they have a problem with authentication and they yet cannot overcome the problem. Every patch is full with bugs and crashes. xD
That’s just better for us. If they don’t fix the reporting feature we can keep banning smurfs.

A lot of the things they “couldn’t” improve were because of the limitations of the current engine.
This is changing with OW2, which is why alot of the graphics are getting refreshed.
As for smurfs. Because the $$$$$ keep flowing in, Blizzard won’t do a single thing.
They are all about the dollar, and not the player experience these days.

Im not talking here about blizzard banning smurfs, im talking here about us banning smurf. Everybody knows blizzard won’t ban smurfs, because they have profits coming with it, but it doesn’t mean we can’t report smurfs and get them banned. Just spread the word, everyime you see level 100 widow on ranked stupidly carrying the game, tell everybody to report her, she will get banned, blizzard might even get more money if she buys a new account. Everyone’s happy.

You’re contradicting yourself here. You can only get banned if you break some rules.
“Playing better than me” is not an reportable offense.

So whatever happened to first time players migrating over from another shooter? They aim amazingly, with low map awareness, but still absolutely carry low level games.
I got reported god knows how many times when I first started playing OW
I know cause people usually posted in chat to “report for smurfing”.
And better yet, what about players who’s SR is literally doomed? (Like my healing SR, where I had a leaver for every single damn placement match) You cant tell me that I can plat in DPS and TANK, but when it comes to healing I’m suddenly just a bit better than bronze
So I could either spend like a year in lower level matches, where I’m not sure how to feel about having 5 gold medals on moira, or gold damage and healing on ana. Or I could make an alt account, and get ranked in plat and play normally.
If you think they are bad on PC they are so so much worse on console… you can literally just create another account in like 5 mins and away you go with your smurf account.
You can’t even get through a competitive match now without someone dropping. Its a problem that cannot be fixed without a big overhaul.

With most champs you still need good map awareness to carry, you can’t just aimbot on widow and do everything even on low ranks as gold if you have no idea of the map layout.
Map awareness is pretty easy, especially for players who know how to play other ranked games, and they will probably reach high rank after a season, so i don’t see how it’d affect them.
Especially, that they have 25 levels of quickplay before they can go ranked
Yes, report the smurfs. I classify it as gameplay sabotage. Being extremely good at the game and then having to create a different account just so you can match yourself against people who are far less skilled I would consider sabotage, as you do so knowing the result.
Same in sports in general, theres a reason why professionals don’t show up to little league games to kick the kids’ asses.
