If you select “Prefer Yeti”, it says completing games as Mei increases your chances of playing the Yeti. After >40 consecutive completed games playing Mei, I have giving up trying.
This is really bad, Overwatch. I’d rather wait longer in the queue to play Yeti straight away than having no hope of playing him at all.
I understand the frustration. I don’t know how popular the gamemode is but it requires so many more meis than yetis that the wait is a little ridiculous.
The wait time wouldn’t be a problem. I’d rather wait an hour than play >40 games Mei. I think they should scrap this way and just give you the option to play yeti without having to rely on luck and dozens of games playing Mei.
I’ve had it even worse. I won my first game as Yeti, but it didn’t count towards the challenge completion.
I must be the unluckiest guy on these forums.
