Your matchmaking practise should be illegal

I am tilted, and not because I deranked or lost a few games as you would like to imply. I am tilted at this scummy system in general and those who support/defend it.

Lol. Honestly, you are too far down the rabbit hole and won’t be convinced. But you got tilted and read something on the internet and believed it. It happens.

Honestly. The conspiracy has been around in every online PvP game since day dot. It is boring, and never been proven to be a thing. But, people still sign up to it. Sometimes people are just desperate souls looking for an answer, and the easiest one for them to grasp is the one they go for.

Good luck. No need to reply.

Well that is where you are wrong, again… I came to this conclusion independently with my own evidence and experience. I then found that other people are experiencing the same thing. The evidence for this happening is crazy.

I didn’t ask about the echo chamber.

You said I read this online and believed it, which is a completely false assumption.

Anyway Im going to play some overwatch. Need to rank up.

I hope the pixes and ghosts in the system don’t mess with you…

nice exaggeration fallacy

it’s exactly what you’ve suggested happens.

is it ? gaslighting and strawmanning, textbook

Yep. You’ve made up a system and have convinced yourself it is real.

Lol. using phrases you don’t understand to try insult people. Fun.

Your mistake is thinking you are dealing with somebody that doesn’t know what these tricks are. You have done both.

Strawman - “one in which the person sets up and then attacks a position that is not actually being debated”

Not done that.

Gaslighting - “a form of psychological abuse where a person causes someone to question their sanity, memories, or perception of reality”

Not done that either.

I’ve just told you are wrong. I’ve not tried to convince you. You just got weirdly defensive of your position.

Ultimately, you can’t honestly believe the theories you’ve made up. Because if they were true, no one would be playing the game.

Exagerating an argument to make it sound silly like you did with the pixies and ghosts is an example of strawmanning.

Calling people conspiracy theorists and bringing mental health into a debate in an attempt to label and discredit their complaint is an example of Gaslighting.

You claimed some system that doesn’t exist is doing something… ghosts.

Also, if this were true… surely at least 1 disgruntled ex-employee would have said something (they sure have enough of them with more than enough reasons to get that information out)… Gaming journalists would be all over it like a rash, negativity drives clicks and impressions.

But there is nothing.

This is a conspiracy theory ("a belief that some secret but influential organisation is responsible for an event or phenomenon). If it was proven, it would be a factual occurrence.

If it was true, there would be more people talking about it, other than a few forum and reddit posts. They would essentially be taking agency away from the players, and that would be a terrible look. The media don’t need an excuse to go after Blizzard, they would be using this to beat them with repeatedly.

I get it. You get upset at the game. This conversation is done, unless you have irrefutable evidence of something, you are doing nothing more than pushing a theory.

You claimed matchmaker cannot track win/loss streaks when Blizzard said it can, So if they lied about that, which you claimed they did, then they have 0 credibility, if they didn’t lie then you have 0 credibility. which one is it ?

You still haven’t watched the video, where they quite clearly state it can’t.

You quoted patch notes. Right now, most matches there will be a slight difference in each teams average MMR. So that is where you get the “expected” and all that guff in the adjustments, as 1 team will be slightly higher than the other. But you will be talking in SR terms maybe like 15-20 sr difference in the average.

So all they are saying is that you will be less likely to be on the lower side if you lose more. Except that they have zero clue if you won or lost your last game… so it is a bit of a nothing burger of a note. Chances are, the more you lose, the more likely you are to win eventually anyways as the game gets easier for you (against less skilled players).

That video is irrelevent.
Video was posted 17 Mar 2023 and the
patch notes that mention the system tracking wins/losses is MAY 14, 2024.

So maybe if we had this argument in Mar 2023 you could say Blizzard said they cant, but we are in 2024 and Blizzard said they can.

MAY 14 patch notes are basically an admission to what I am complaining about. They have admitted that if you go on a loss streak they adjust the matches to give you more chance of winning, it is reasonable to assume the opposite is also true, if you go on a win streak the matches are adjusted to give you less chance of winning, however not in the organic fair way of putting you against stronger opponents but by also handicapping the team you are on with players the matchmaker has identified as losing even the matches they were supposed to win (throwers)
