After this mid season patch i have got this annoying error and i can’t play even one game…
I tried everything i saw, my graphic drivers are updated and It worked fine before this mid season updated.
And my PC can run this game, i mean, man… This days i played Doom: The Dark Age and with 144fps even more but i have just a 144Hz screen.
Anyways i mean i tried all that steps to solve the problem and It still continues… I am just waiting for Next patch or something, because i can’t play to my everyday game…
The only one mode i can play is “Overwatch Classic” and IDK why, but hey,it’s something and i can complete my season…
I hope anyone of you can help me please!

I’m having the same problem. It kicks me out of the game, and I don’t have any of the issues described in support. I don’t have any overheating, no background programs, and my computer is relatively new. Any solutions?
For real? No soluction for this? Hope this Will be fixed soon man, i have bought my season…
I must play Classic because the game Crash always… And if you quit Classic i Will have nothing to play on OW2.
Should i say goodbye to this game for real?!

Hey man! I solved the problem(for the moment, i don’t wanna to Talk this too high) just download the last April last update Nvidia Graphics and use that, if you use the most actual or another from May the game Will Crash again, i going to end the battlepass that i bought because i don’t know about rankeds with this conditions and they can write me a report or something like that, so i going to end the battlepass and try Freja on Stadium, i hope Blizzard fix this problem on Next updated, but at the moment i can play fine waiting for this, hope this help you too man!
BTW my card is 4070OC RTX but i think every card upgrade their drivers after April, so black to April updated and try with that! Hope It work for you too!
I suggest going with technical issues to RIOT since blizzard is not willing to help, they’ve helped me with this issue even though it’s not their game. I don’t like any game from them but their team is superior over blizzard.
I don’t like RIOT games so i prefer this one. ^^’
Same, but atleast RIOT cares about their players unlike blizzard with their DEI hires
So, I think i found a fix to the issue. The Bios update capped my graphics card voltage at 0%. So to fix i did the following:
Nvidia App > System > Performance > 'voltage maximum (%) increased from 0% to 100%,
None of the ‘known’ fixes seemed to help and i’ve noticed a lot more people with this issue. Hope it helps.
Update - It stopped working again. Much longer between crashes, hence my earlier message, but the issue is still there. Still convinced this is an Overwatch issue since all other games are working perfectly.
Further update, literally did a full clean install of windows and started from a fresh machine and continue to get the same error along with a game crash. Keep in mind the game has been running perfectly for 18 months, it’s only since the latest patch have i had issues.
This game remains the only problematic game on my PC.
This is an nvidia drivers issue. Roll back a few. Try 576.28.
